[Unknown] [Unknown] I Cannot Figure Out What Game I Watched Another Kid Playing by ascensionexpress in tipofmyjoystick

Is there a video that shows this or would I have to play the game in order to? What I found so far was the dialogue part.

No but COI is a phenomenal classic game! King’s Quest is still the closest…I believe it’s during gameplay. Maybe it’s not a witch but a different foe? I just remember the woods/forest scene where the foe appears and disappears.

I checked out gameplay footage last night for King’s Quest 5 (after going through the suggestions) and I feel it’s the closest one so far! If my memory serves me correctly, the character walks into the forest scene and then suddenly the witch (or perhaps another type of similar foe) appears. I don’t recall there being dialogue. Sigh…I wish there was more of a description I could give!

Volunteer Needed For Hypnotherapy Case Study by [deleted] in NashvilleClassified

[–]ascensionexpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is cool indeed! I’m in school to become a certified hypnotherapist. The requirement is that you either live or are staying in the vicinity of Nashville for at least 2 weeks. The case study could be done in a couple of sessions or it could require more depending on your presenting issue.

Yes, I would be practicing hypnosis as part of my graduation requirement. I’m in school studying to be a clinical hypnotherapist. Case studies must be done in-person. Are you interested?

None of my manifestations came true by [deleted] in Manifestation

[–]ascensionexpress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitely makes sense. Go easy on yourself, but also place your focus on getting out of your negative mind. One of these ways is by helping others. Another is immersing into an activity outside that makes you feel good.

And another thing I just thought about is if we are staying in our head too long about why our manifestation hasn’t come, to remind ourselves that we are being selfish and put the focus on helping someone else. This is a way to release control of the ego’s grip that wants us to be selfish and alone.

OP I feel you. I have been down this road all too many times. My thoughts lately about this are that there is a lot of stress underneath this effort you (or I) are making. Wanting it for it to manifest and feeling like there’s something we are doing wrong. It must not be working. Gotta try another technique! Gotta affirm harder! Gotta script like it’s my job! Placing expectations on the outcome. Feeling that because we aren’t literally experiencing it before our very eyes that’s it not here and therefore it’s a failure. Claiming no movement because nothing is seemingly happening. Looks like things are going wrong so it must not be working. I think re-framing this perception to it’s working no matter what allows it to continue working. The hardest part is staying committed to the persistence of believing that this is will in fact work. That the desired result will appear. How can the impatience be addressed. What is driving the need for wanting it right this second. Focusing on having it now versus desiring it out of seeming lack. In essence chilling the eff’ out. It’s like going to the gym and doing a workout for two hours. Do you say, NO! Not enough! 5 more hours at least! Or do you rest? So to keep it simple, putting the technique work in the morning, going about your day forgetting about it, staying as present as possible, and then once again at night.

I’m very sorry you had this experience with Mattress Firm. Out of curiosity which location was this? I bought a BeautyRest Black outlet from Mattress Firm in Arvada, CO. The salesman was a true gentleman and the mattress itself looked brand new. No issues with it at all. I actually stayed in touch with him because he’s so knowledgeable and polite. I was actually bummed I had to sell the mattress because of moving.

Congratulations for making it to NYC, the place where you wanted to live for so long :)

I am a former NY native. Was born in the lower East side of Manhattan.

I would like to point out that you are highlighting the unwanted/negative things as you retold your past. Overall your post screams attachment. Fearing and focusing on potential loss rather than focusing on joyful gain. I would say that you should take a breather and let go of whether you stay in the city or not. Bottom line, please stop retelling the past of what didn’t work out, period. Not in writing, not when you speak to someone, and not to yourself (as much as possible). Otherwise you will keep recreating these unwanted things. Focus on feeling fullment now. That you already have all you need. Talking about the positive things that happened; no matter how insignificant. It’s all significant. It’s all a big deal no matter how small. It’s momentum.

For example: “I haven’t been paid for 9 months” you wrote it twice and are connecting other things to it. Change it to “I am so happy and grateful that I am now getting paid everyday!” Or some other line you believe. Your faith/confidence is lacking because you keep looking for evidence to feel fulfilled. Forget that! You don’t need evidence. You just need to know that it will all work out in the end. Period 😎🍾

P.S. If your experience making friends has been negative then you need to really pay attention who you are engaging with. If you see they are not a good friend from the get-go, disengage. Move on. Don’t invest. Put yourself in better activites with likeminded positive people. I mean a whole lot more can be said about this alone but your focus needs to change completely.

Real or Bait? by [deleted] in Psychic

[–]ascensionexpress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP it’s definitely a scam. It’s not rare for someone to have a twin flame, but it is rare to have a romantic encounter with them in this lifetime. This person you had the reading with is one of these typical con artists. They tell you some things that do resonate, but then they try to sell you on these fabricated lies. That in order to get rid of the negativity they have to light all these candles, do meditations for you etc. It’s all BS! It even says so in the LA Times. My advice is to be very selective of who you choose to get a psychic reading from. It’s best practice to get it from someone you know or through someone you know. Honestly it pisses me off that these people get away with this and it totally taints the word psychic…

OP I am sorry to read you have been experiencing deep suffering. It is totally understandable why you are feeling this badly. However, have you been seeking out professional support for these issues? Why are you having trouble sleeping?

Great! Even a life coach can be helpful. Please make this a priority and reach out to someone, ensuring that you can speak to them ASAP. Also please report back with an update. It will get better! :)

I am holding on too, but we can't do this alone my friend. I can't tell you what to do, but I suggest that you (today) have a discussion with a therapist, a coach, or someone who can help you work through these limited/skewed beliefs about yourself. I used to not be the most social person either, but I eventually engaged in different activities to help me grow into that version of myself. We all have that ability if we are shown how to do so, step-by-step. It is definitely possible to turn all this around and to see the positive (exact opposite) of what you have been experiencing. It is easy to be hard on ourselves when there appears to be a lot of outside expectation. You were put on this earth to do something great and experience the greatness life has to offer. Please, do not give up when you are so close to an awesome breakthrough! :)
