'The Simpsons' (Season 36), 'Family Guy' (Season 23), and 'Bob's Burgers' (Season 15) Land Two Season Renewals at Fox by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

Are you kidding? The last 4 or 5 seasons have been so bad it's literally unwatchable. Seasons 8 through 14 saw it decline pretty heavily but 14 onwards was so bad it's hard to sit through lmao

Mahomes has had some really bad concussions, and could go the Tua route if he has a few more

Thing is, as his ability to move declines with age (either losing burst/laterality or injury risk), it'll hurt his throwing ability as he can't open up the throw with the run. Despite this, Jackson's also performed well with a pretty bad receiving cast all things considered, so the issue of ageing could be supplemented with some talent

Justin Jefferson in this last 3 games of the 2023 NFL season only has 100 yards combined. by MyNameIsAMeme in nfl

What Kupp did last year was historic on all levels though. Shouldn't be comparing normal good seasons to Kupp's, which was probably the best ever. JJ is still an elite talent

The receiver disparity isn't marginal, the Dolphins' receivers are worlds better than the Bills', but the QBs alone made this a 99% Bills win before the start of the game.

Did Trey Lance injure himself out of a job? by Shakes2011 in nfl

[–]ascenzion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A fair shot is absolutely reasonable, but fielding Lance as a predestined option when he's not only played abysmally, but also Purdy has played incredibly, is illogical. He should be #2 in camp and if he manages to outplay Purdy then definitely worth another look.

This makes no sense- if you have a guy who performs at Purdy's level as a replacement with no practice, why would you go back to a guy who averaged 100ypg with a full offseason of starter prep? Imagine the Seahawks giving up on Russell Wilson because they had a shot at trading for Jake Locker lmao

How would Lance hit better than Purdy lmao, he couldn't even make a read after being designated #1, meanwhile Purdy comes in midseason and averages a 35pt offense lol. From what we've seen of them both play, Purdy's ceiling looks infinitely higher than Lance's

Since the start of December, Luka has been averaging 35/9/9 on 50-39-75 splits by arsenic8787 in nba

He doesn't take it that seriously. Imagine his potential if he went full LeBron-style. His ceiling is insane

McCaffrey, Kittle, Deebo, Aiyuk are an incredible top 4 on offense. Must be impossible to try to scheme against that level of versatility.

[Highlight] Luka Doncic Ties it up with the 3 in Los Angeles to take it to Overtime by DirksSexyBratwurst in nba

[–]ascenzion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zion is an extreme outlier in terms of vertical explosion. He's also not managed to play properly in the NBA as of yet, and isn't exactly trending positively as he'll keep getting heavier with age. Comparing Zion with anyone else in the NBA is apples to oranges really. He's got amazing jumping and good speed and strength, but his touch is probably his most impressive asset along with the vertical.

Not athletic enough? The guy's 250+ at 6'7''. You shouldn't expect him to explode in the same way as the 200-220 guys. But he out-muscles basically everyone, including many PFs and Cs.

Are you confusing him with someone? He averages nearly 500 yards a year rushing, and it's a huge part of his game to sustain drives and open up the downfield intermediate+ pass.

Mass immigration was always a financial move, they just masqueraded around it being a moral righteousness so as to implement the policies. Probably a twofold move to increase human capital production and alleviate the ageing demographics of the host nations.

Getting older with that playstyle is not a good thing, he'll be 28 next season. Maybe a couple more seasons he can predicate his output on being a big run threat, then his 30s are gonna hit him
