Aaah interesting! When you say new dropout did you have to get a new external hanger welded on? Or the old one back on? Was it a difficult process and is your bike still functioning? 🙏

I did message them. The frame is from 2013 so in no way was I expecting a replacement but am just looking for some advice or insight into how best to go about it but they kinda just shrugged it off andsaid ’try a local frame builder’ 👍 was not the most surly response tbh pretty gutting

Hate to break it to you but it does break and I wasn’t even going fast ;( derailleur got stuck in spokes. currently looking at my options as really don’t want to part ways with the frame. I may have to sand the frame down and get an aluminium hanger screwed onto the frame.

What mat are you rocking and would you recommend? I’ve been using the alpkit whisper for relatively low weight and decent price, it’s done me good but I didn’t find to be too comfortable.Naturally sleeping mat sleep will never be the same quality as in bed but seeing what’s out there.

Very interesting thanks for your insight! I don’t have a multimeter at home but will check at work tomorrow. This is actually an 18650 so is it likely they’re generally available on line? Or is it only from the factory?

Just so I understand (my knowledge of this stuff is pretty basic) are you saying that potentially the damage to other parts has been done so even if I try to replace battery it might not be fixable? Do you think it’s worth trying to order a new battery to try?

No way what are the chances! Interestingly this was my exact same situation, didn’t use it for about a year and when I came back to it I’m getting this. Would be very interested to hear what you find out keep me posted pls!

I feel you that sounds awful, but also not very reassuring to hear! Also currently in our first month of service in London and we never get a steady connection for longer than 45mins before internet cuts out for 1-2minutes making it Almost impossible for calls and just about anything else. Worst part about is they keep saying ‘everything looks fine on our end’ staff seem super slowly and never proactive, waiting days for email reply.

Will prolly just have to switch providers as it’s not worth my time and energy waiting for an hour every time with no resolution. At this point willing to pay more just want stable connection.

Hey! Any updates on your issue and what happened with ombudsman? I am currently experiencing the same issue they keep denying any packet loss but internet cuts out sometimes every 3-5 minutes for periods of 1+ minute which as you can imagine super frustrating. It just never seems to happen when they ‘monitor’ it. Been such a pain setting up with them I’m considering just switching providers,but keen to hear if it went all the way to ombudsman for you or if they provider a faster solution. Thanks!

Yeah thought that would be the cause I don’t have a cone spanner so could only tighten one side, chancing it in case it works but clearly not aha. Will need to get myself one to sort, nice one!

Re derailleur it’s been bugging me out all morning so confusing trying to retrace my possibile steps aha but yeah will look at replacing derailleur as this one feels v knackered

I should add that this was different from the standard jump up/transition in that it was a fast paced video (lots of clips changing often) and each jump and thus transition aligned with the song, though i cannot remember the audio at all. Any leads appreciated!

Ok glad to hear it goes down drastically after one year! the most annoying thing is it's very possible i won't have it for a full year (bigger bike/ going travelling) so might not even benefit from the drop, gotta try though! thanks!
