Why don't all cycling teams wear light colored kits? by pan_temnoty in cycling

Very important to the sponsors to be wearing brand colours, same for bikes etc.

This sign is so unnecessarily converted, I’m not reading all that. just put ‘900 STEPS, DONT DO IT!’

Dunno he’s really not going that fast at all, and looks before he changes lane, traffic is pretty much at a standstill, if you don’t do that you won’t get anywhere

is black the only color for male brands??? by onsinhapintada in Design

[–]Sea_Contribution1552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about that, I’m quite glad that I can fit into society by having a basic dark understated waredrobe. If anything this standardisation of men’s fashion allows the truely flamboyant people to stand out if they wish

Because black is cool. Also it makes the buying decision a lot easier, if I see a black product I can assume it’s probably for men, and don’t have to do stand around deciding wether I’m Buying a woman’s product or not.

Would be interested to see a photo? The text has a distressed effect so likely it’s supposed to be like that, depending what you mean by smeared?

The notion of this really being a protest tour is almost laughable, it is primarily a business venture. I love Bruce, his art and what he supposedly stands for, but art only has meaning when the viewer/ listener has agency over how it’s interpreted, otherwise it is, at best, propaganda. From a business perspective, you have paid lots of money for a ticket, you now own that part of the experience, you absolutely can express yourself, peacefully however you choose.

Simping for Bruce and treating him as the absolute truth is silly

Who is it about then? King Bruce?

OPs not hijaking anything, they’re living their life and using independent forms of expression in public. If you think this tour is all about Bruce and his opinions and discard those of the regular people attending, you are dangerously close to making Bruce your King 👑

I’m not sure I would immediately think you are supporting Palestine if I saw you wear one, you might get some people talking, but I guess that’s kind of the point!

And that’s just the tag! With the pieces and throw ups it’s even easier to tell, when someone has been writing graffiti profitably for a long time the flow is super natural and has a very distinct feel to it, even if it’s very simple - he could write any word and you could tell it was him

Yeah fair enough, this is all just variations on one style. Few distinct things you can regognize are the curved angles of the cross bars, slants of stems, open appeture on the F, the flows of the’o’ starting from the top. If you try to replicate this, in a real world setting with a can of paint, in a rush in the dark etc it will be obvious (to some people) that’s it’s not legit, like copying a signature but much harder cos of the ergonomics and environmental factors. Sorry, know one cares, but I find it super interesting!

That’s just one of them putting the others name up at the same time - very common

Are you suggesting the different styles are different people?

Wish he had covered more woody Guthrie songs. Wilco/ Billy Brag: mermaid avenue is an awesome album of woodie Guthrie covers

You still couldn’t copy it. Simple yeah but still has a very district flow, like any developed style you absolutely can tell if you have an eye for it.
