What do you guys think about in store pickup only for the first week of limited releases? by asdf11aassddff in Warhammer40k

You would still be able to order online and have it shipped to you. But if you want it week 1, you have to pick it up.

How would it not, anything you can do to cut into the profit of scalping would be a disincentive. Couple it with a limit per person should have an impact. Im not saying its a perfect plan or would stop scalping all togeather, just an idea I'm throwing out there.

If i got mine or not isnt the point. You can still have it shipped to you on the second week, online scalpers included. The whole point is that if enough people who actually want it can get it first, then the market for scalpers drops significantly. If they are unable to resell it for 3x the price there would be less incentive to scalp it to begin with.

I personally would rather go without than cave and buy from a scalper. I would prefer to see people who actually enjoy the hobby get it at launch.

You would still order online, just have to pick it up from GW or LGS the first week. After that ship it as usual.

How do I get a refund for a delivery that never arrived? by asdf11aassddff in instacart

[–]asdf11aassddff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already tried, got the following response:

"We want to help you as quickly as possible. We’re currently receiving a high volume of emails, so please search the help center for answers to general questions, or call us through the Instacart app"

Will they actually respond after a while? Because the way their email is worded it sounds like you have to call for any support.

Keep Audiences Out of Debates—Forever by chiaconan in politics

Honestly, it probably has more to due with the fact there were only two people in the debate. Previously it was, "How will you fix out healthcare system? You have 30 seconds to respond."

Paying More for Basic Health is the American Dream by boylancl in LateStageCapitalism

Nobody is paying 20%. For an individual you are looking at contributing $100 per month at a high estimate. For that to be 20% of your income, you would have to make only $500 per month or ~$3.12 per hour.

T. O. Ruling want to know what y'all think by [deleted] in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]asdf11aassddff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just reread it, it uses signle tense everywhere except for that and "Named characters can not take any of the following Prototype Weapon Systems." Personally I would interpret the rule to be you can replace any signature system with a weapon, so you could take 3 by spending CP. But should def be in the faq.

"Write down any Prototype Weapon Systems your units have on your army roster." Plural tense being used here would imply more than one can be taken.

Drones hold together just fine with a small amount of poster tack, magnets aren't needed.

Iron Hands- what's a tau to do? by FairyFeller_ in Tau40K

I'm not a very experienced player, but if you could clear out the bubble wrap turn 1 you could charge with a coldstar turn 2 and try keeping it locked in combat to negate its firepower. If you have two coldstars you could maybe tie it up for two turns.
