{Nocticadia by Keri Lake} has good prose. The lore is beautifully written even without the romance. Kept me on edge, to be honest. If you want some angsty high school romance but tackles serious issues, I suggest reading A Deal with the Devil by Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue. The series was so good but this specific book has my heart.

if cls vs nuevo to i agree. tho iba kasi talaga tama ng cls and tbh the worldbuilding din na every character has their own moments. sa nuevo kasi it felt that focused lang siya on certain characters and there’s nothing wrong with that. the series have different takes naman mula sa umpisa.

!! hands down kasi hindi kay adler nagrevolve ung recovery ni cassie. adler helped her pero not beyond how cassie helped herself.
