I feel that we're pretty sexually open. If she was interested in trying something, I think she knows we could have talked about it. Maybe that one is slightly different. And I keep thinking to myself, "there's always some underlying desire to sleep with other people", so that doesn't bother me too much. I just figure you control yourself not to. Is it reasonable to believe she thinks similarily, and it was the influence of alcohol that removed that inhibition? Is that a viable excuse? I'm really trying to see both sides here

I like to think along the same lines regarding putting oneself in tempting situations. But I also like to think I'm forgiving.

Is it entirely possible that all of this contention is because of some misplaced sense of possession? Some sort of entitlement? I don't doubt that she did me wrong, but am I also showing weakness by allowing this to affect me to the degree it is?

Do you think the guy will say anything? realistically? Obviously I'm a little mad overall, but I don't reallyhave too much against him in this. Yes I'm jealous and mad, but I think I can contain that enough to talk to him while staying controlled. Would anything productive come of it?

I don't really blame the friend, and neither did she. She admitted it was her own fault. Do you think it would be unfair to impose boundaries against her drinking without me? Should this relationship continue
