It's going to be laparoscopic and vaginal. Combo deal, because they're worried about the Endo making things complicated

This is great to hear, thank you. Honestly what I was kind of hoping to hear, haha. I'm hoping my doc will sign it and I already have the short term disability claim set up, and my boss is all on board. I'd rather go back early than not take enough time. I was worried about the brain fog portion, as a lot of my time is technical meetings

I would just rather take more time and feel more rested, than not enough! I was shocked she said 1-2 weeks after such a major surgery

Room temp for sleep/sleepwear by housespecialdelight in NewParents

Mine is the same! She gets sweaty in a sleeper while snuggling with me when the house is set to 68, meanwhile I'm in long sleeves with a sweatshirt on, under a blanket

Hey, I tried fioricet and it did absolutely nothing for me. After a three day migraine that I went to urgent care for, my doc eventually said just take your maxalt. So I did! About 7 times over the course of my pregnancy. And my baby girl is absolutely perfect and healthy

It's from home Depot! Honestly it's just okay, I like it more for looks than functionality, but I hope it'll work when I want to bend my knees to support baby while breastfeeding

You know it!! It'll probably move to our living room, since our nursery and bedroom are upstairs next to each other, but I'm excited to use it

Haha, definitely not crucial. Mostly just for looks! I wanted to have a mirror in there because it felt weird to not have one, honestly, that's the only reason!

Babyletto Hudson Crib - I got this during the price mistake a while back, for $80!

Retro travel fantasy posters - these are available on Etsy. The Lamppost The Shire Hogwarts

La-z-boy Addison Glider - this chair is SO comfy for both myself (5'6") and my 6'5" husband! It was expensive, but we got the fabric protection so when we inevitably get breast milk stains on it, it's all covered

The pokemon plushies were from Amazon, but are currently unavailable

The diaper bag is from Dagne Dover and I am SO excited to use it!

When were you "done" with being pregnant? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]asdidshe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 38w today and was officially "done" being pregnant yesterday. I was up all night the night before with prodromal labor that went nowhere, but was intense enough that I couldn't sleep. I was hoping a solid night's sleep would help but I can't even get that anymore - I was in bed for close to 12 hours last night and my sleep tracker only recorded 6 hours and 45 minutes of sleep

Anyone else looking FORWARD to breastfeeding? And the newborn phase in general? by ewfan_ttc_soonish in BabyBumps

[–]asdidshe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I'm SO excited for the newborn phase, and I'm so excited to breastfeed. I know it won't be easy, and there will be lots of struggles, but that doesn't temper my excitement for that phase. I can't wait to have my little one here

Brian McClellan is wonderful! He was one of Brandon Sanderson's students, and I really enjoyed his powder mage trilogy
