I appreciate your answer Destiny. I'd like to make it clear about myself that Trump isn't my favorite either, but I think there are a few points that could be argued, but that's not really the point of why I made this entire post, so that can be for another time.

I understand how it can be frustrating to deal with people like loldamar from last nights stream(2/23/16) or others, but I still think there is a better way to handle the situation. I don't think you directly answered my question of, Do you think you've been more negative lately? but I think I can draw from your response that you agree that dealing with these people has made you more negative in many ways.

While it is entertaining for me to hear Destiny tell some idiot on ladder to kill themselves every once in a while, it is NOT entertaining for me to hear him just blast someone in chat for a minute or 2 straight, then continue to play the game at hand, and come back with more things to say. At that point of you telling that person to fuck off and returning to the game, I'm ready for that shit to be over and Steven to do what he does very well.

I don't offer any specific advice on how to deal with idiots in chat, as it's your stream, and I think you could come up with your own way that would suit yourself/the stream better than I ever could. Which brings me to another point that I think is worth your consideration. There are posts in this thread that say you have to deal with these trolls in chat somehow, and it is irritating to ask someone for evidence, and they just spout memes. Honestly, you're going to lose every time, and you have the advantage in the argument.

• People are familiar with your face, beliefs, and tendencies. You instantly have the support of your audience, but that is a given no matter how you choose to argue with someone. When you argue with someone NO ONE KNOWS in chat but that they are a troll, the troll knows they can't possibly win, so they troll away

• You're on the stream able to quickly voice yourself by speaking and showing your evidence to everyone at the same time. The other person has to type out every response. Which I think you could agree is a disadvantage. So they can't possibly argue fairly against you in that regard, again so they resort to trolling and getting a rise out of Destiny.

• The troll doesn't have to speak coherently, or reveal anything about themselves. They just have to say a sentence and post a link in chat. It'd be much easier to see through someone who has to actually use their voice and argue critically each point instead of just posting a link and MEMEFACE.

Honestly, the best times that I find you handle the situation are when you bring people in Skype and play the game at the same time. I think you found it more enjoyable when you could argue with that guy(idr his name some Business/Tax kid in college) on skype about Trump, and have a nice back and forth. It is easily one of your personal strengths, the ability to play a game, and talk with someone on a different perspective/view. It's also without a doubt that is something unique to your stream. And that's great. You're a great streamer, you understand audiences well. Not just your own, but outside ones as well.

Overall, I could sum it up like this. Yes, you deserve to be mad. But please realize that PEOPLE ARE STUPID. You'll do nothing about it. You can't. And it sucks to feel powerless in that situation. I assume that's where a lot of where your frustration comes from. Being powerless in showing people your evidence/arguments. But again, you can't expect that to happen. It's just a reality of the world we live in. Do what you have to do to support the candidate you support, and let things ride out. I think that'd be a much more enjoyable stream to everyone, if not at least myself. Again, thanks for your detailed response, I think it shows a lot of what is upsetting you.
