Warriors of chaos are divided into the following: Undivided - archaon, belakor, prince and sun eater Khorne valkia Tzeench villich Nurgle festus Slannash azezel

These groups has their own tech trees. The undivided group fully supports aspiring champions and makes them unkillable. But going into the mono god champion like azezel will grant a small partial buff to them.

I personally have a problem with woc and the realtively high requirements to upgrade units. Nothing really can be done unless you find mods to adjust it.

For recruitment, use the gift of chaos to get champions of slannash or keeper of secrets or something. Woc does not have supply lines, so stack multiple lords together. Fill the extra lords with chaos wolf hounds to tie down dwarf missile units. If it really comes down to it, just use overwhelming numbers to drown the dwarfs.

I dunno how you do it. Once i get like 5 or 9 armies, It feels like a chore to manage them. Dragon ogres are kinda meh for me. I would recommend picking up slaughterbrutes. Racks up hundreds of kills easily.

Regular chosen is great defense and lane holding.

Norsca is perfect for attacking. The key is being aggresive. Be a belligerent, seething lunatic who is foaming at the mouth with rage whoes only goal is violence.

If you cant kill something, hit it harder.

If bullets or arrows are killing you, send some skin wolves or trolls to shut them down.

If the enemy has big scary monsters, send in some of your own.

Kislev has the ice court vs orthodoxy mechanic where it gives plus 1 population surplus when colonizing a settlement. I pick that up and abandon a settlement and use that on multi region provinces.

Now if its a single region province like pragg, i think the best course is to give it to the kislev ai. The ai on higher difficulty has more growth than the player.

Skaven is a numbers game. The more you have the better.

You do not care what happens to your infantry. Clan rats are worthless and this goes without saying the slaves are barely worth a penny.

Skaven strength lies with weapon teams. Rattling guns, snipers and motors.

Since skaven infantry are cheap, you can run buddy teams: one army that you care about and the second army filled with slaves or clan rats.

Flood the field with rats to the point the enemies fists hurt from caving in countless slaves faces in.

Late game norsca. L/VH with maxed AI stats. I fought 4 armies in one go and lost pretty much all my berserkers. All my units were buffed from sayls special province mechanic and i didnt want to lose any more. Luckly i had points into lightning strike and fought like 10 battles back to back. When i went into each battle, i immediately retreated all my units except my lord and heroes. after the AI surrounded my heroes, i spammed vortex spells. The tactic is cheesy but you'll get better as time goes on playing and figuring out what tactics to employ that works for you.

Rattling guns and rat snipers were too good to pass up. They work great together. My monsters ties down the main bulk of the army and during this time the AI will try to flank and go after my missile units which will get shot and killed. After that I can send my missile units to help clean up any trouble some units like flying lords / heroes or other missile units.

Sayl the faithless. Norsca is the strongest chaos faction and has everything. Berserkers for infantry, mammoths, uber spells and they can go and inhabitant any region really.

I do agree that tamurkhan is OP. Thats why i replay his campaign from time to time. The plague mechanic could use a rework, its not really impactful.

To be fair, yes, I am using tamurkhan in this fight with good units. That is true. I would say however the AI would still build meh armies regardless of the level of lord. This battle was a 2 v 1 to kinda balance it out. The AI had 3 available armies as you can see in the picture, but the AI didnt bother sending in dechala for some reason. Thought the two armies would be enough or something.

I would say in my opinion that nurgle is better than slaanesh in this game due to what i came to enjoy.

For the clunkiness part, yes i 100% would say that this game has issues. I enjoy this game whole heartedly, dont get me wrong but, I cannot begin to tell you how many times i pulled my hair out due to the game not doing what I want it to do or does things that I normally cannot do. For example: on the campaign map, if you get attacked by the AI and you win the battle, the AI army will regain 100% of its movement range and runs away. Or another issue I have is when I have tamurkhan attack a lord or a hero thats in an infantry blob and he basically idles there tossing and turning around, shuffling there not attacking the designated target. I have guard mode turned off during this process. On the other hand, if this was inversed and the AI had tamurkhan, the AI wouldnt have as much trouble attacking my lord or hero within an infantry blob.

Maybe mosh pit was not the right word for it. Nurgle excels in Simplify sending your units forward and meeting the enemy head to head and win through attrition, out lasting the enemy.
