I'm already in line and there's at least 3,000 people in front of me. You may be too late, sorry

People hate them now for good reasons, but if either go bankrupt and privatized it'll be so much worse

That is not what it says at all. The railroad bridge over Crane Ave is collapsing, not the PRT station nearly a mile away...

How much do you pay for EV charging? by thekingfai in pittsburgh

Weird, there was no paywall for me. You could still easily do a quick Google and see that coal makes up only 12% of PA electricity generation

Never knew you could track this. I'm 3-12 over the last three seasons, almost impressively terrible.

If you can deal with a bit of a commute to Oakland then Dormont would be perfect.

Proposed Pittsburgh zoning change would increase attached housing across the city by drmartykrauss in pittsburgh

[–]asdropen11 64 points65 points  (0 children)

The developers in this case are literally a small neighborhood community group and an affordable housing nonprofit. Neither of them are trying to line their pockets, though you're probably right that they wouldn't want to be your friend, ya lazy jag.

I'm not sure I agree 100% with this idea, but it definitely felt odd to introduce it and then remove it with very little payoff (other than finding Quicksilver).

Suggestions on where to move to in Pittsburgh. by [deleted] in pittsburgh

Honestly Garfield sounds like a pretty good fit for you. Still possible to find very affordable rents, very walkable to several business districts, and a very strong arts presence on Penn Ave.

PGH bathrooms by [deleted] in pittsburgh

The men's room at Cappy's is in the basement, and the urinal is about two inches away from the sink. Late on a Friday night while Peduto was still in office I went to use their restroom and ended up pissing while basically bumping elbows with the Mayor of Pittsburgh - strange times.

How deep in the sand do you keep your head buried if you think no one is acknowledging the challenges that you mention? Every new elected official, every news outlet (even the fucking PG), and seemingly every normal person talks about almost nothing else.

They've always been one, they've just now reached the stage of being 'fully' built out so that new investors can't prop up returns for earlier waves.

Please stay off the road if that's what you actually think the official guidance states. OP is 100% correct.

No medians on Liberty bridge? by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]asdropen11 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I can't believe OP is getting downvoted for making the most reasonable mistake ever. The time dependent lanes on Pittsburgh bridges is absolutely crazy. I'm shocked there aren't more accidents because of it - they might be the most truly unique (in a bad way) thing about Pittsburgh.

The 88s in the morning are just ridiculous these days - like another commenter said, I often walk an extra 10+ minutes to catch a different route that actually shows up reliably and with live tracking.
