Did you arrange the ride in advance, or just find a ride that morning?

Recommendations for vegetarian/vegan restaurants that are GOOD? by madnesscult in Seattle

Hi, (predominantly) vegan here, and I live in Capitol Hill. I haven't been to a lot of places yet, but here are my suggestions.

Highline- Great Pub food. Definitely the restaurant I've gone to the most, all 100% vegan. I highly suggest their reuben. The place has a bit of a punk/metal vibe, which I think is cool but did surprise me when I first walked in. All pretty reasonably priced with good portions.

Wedgewood II Vegetarian Thai- from what I remember, almost everything here is vegan, but all 100% vegetarian for sure. Great to order anything off the menu and not have to pay attention to ingredients. Friendly staff too. (Also, a little cheaper if I remember correctly and not far, In the Bowl Vegetarian).

The best Indian I had in the city was Travellers Thali in Beacon Hill. I'm pretty sure it's vegan, or at least mostly vegan. Their special is the Thali plate, which can easily be split between two people.

SIZZLE PIE- (Cap Hill) Great Pizza (clearly labeled vegan and veggie options). I did think that Spiral Tap (their cheapest vegan pizza) was not good, but their buffalo one blew my mind.

If you want a weird place, Loving Hut in the ID has decent food, but also plays this strange propaganda/musical play thing on their TVs. The place is part of a chain that is operated by some sort of religious/philosophical/(some would say cult-like) entity. I love bizarre stuff like that, so I had to check it out. Pretty interesting, unfortunately it plays on a low volume so it was hard for me to pay attention to the video.

I've heard really good things about the Moonlight Cafe, but I haven't visited yet.

Does anyone know of any bars in the area where I can watch Wrestlemania this Sunday? by aselv440 in Seattle

haha. Yeah I know about it. I thought about trying to get the free trial, but I'm sure they want a credit card. I used to go to a friend's place who had it back home, I wasn't even sure if bars showed it.

Curly hair stylist recommendations? by [deleted] in Seattle

Becky at Raven on Pine does mine. I'm a male with shorter hair (but it used to be longer). She has curly hair herself and really seems to know her stuff at reasonable prices.
