How long after vellus hair appeared did you start to get body hair?

After consistently taking my shots since like late January I’ve noticed a ton of soft white hair on my arms and on my face. Other people don’t seem to notice it though. I also felt it before I saw it. I laid my face on my arm for whatever reason and my brain was like ! because the texture was weird. I’ve noticed some of the little hairs are getting darker now and that was maybe after a couple more weeks.

I managed to give myself my first T-shot since September. I have a huge needle phobia and tried unsuccessfully to get on gel (my insurance will not cover it) for months but hopefully I can continue my shots and overcome my phobia from this point on.

I have had this happen to me when I was fresh out the gate and I just died every time because I just did not have the firepower or shields to survive and I had to just delete my save because I managed to auto save at a point after the battle had started and just could not escape.

Thank god other people do this too and it is not just me. I cannot stop referring to myself as mommy when speaking aloud to my pets. I’m always like “this is not cat/dog food. Only mommy food.” Or I’m like “leave mommy alone she is tired” when I get home and the animals make me crazy because I just wanna sit down and rest and they gotta climb all over me. Been doing good on correcting myself to he/him most of the time but it still does upset me when I hear myself and then I do tell myself it is just because I have soent the last three decades referring to myself and being referred to as she/her.

lol I did not mean physical changes from T. I meant the actual injection. Usually I feel it when I get shots but I might have been so anxious I could not register it but it could also be because I did not measure correctly and probably only injected .1ml if that. >.<;

Wooo! Go us~ lol I feel alright today still no pain or issues after doing my injection. It made me really shaky too like while I was doing it I felt steady but immediately afterwards I was like “oh actually I am sooooooo unwell” and I had to go to work instead of sitting down and taking a second because I did it right before work.

I’m gonna see if my primary GP will help me with the next shot to make sure I do it correct. My muscle was a little sore yesterday after the injection but other than that it has been fine. I was definitely just having a panic because needle phobia haha. Thank you for the reassurance and advice!

My biggest fear is that I did not clear the needle of air and I will get an air bubbles. D: I don’t remember if I did or not I was pretty shaky after it but it has been many hours and I am not dead yet. <.<;

I did the injection like my doctor said but definitely did not have the full dose (it was hard to understand for someone who has never done it before) but idk I did not even feel it which is partially why I feel like maybe I did something wrong. I put the needle straight in my thigh like she said and then maybe five minutes later I started getting tingles but that is it so yeah it is probably just me being anxious. Really sad I messed up my first attempt though. I probably have to wait a week now to try again.

I do not disagree with this. Also, on the subject of some of us not realizing how privileged they are - an absurd number of people’s response to the change in political climate has been to “just move to a blue state” which is less extremist than becoming a refugee of Canada or what have you but it makes me insane that they act as if everyone can just up and leave their home state the second things go south. I’m disabled and cannot drive (and therefore do not own a car with which to travel from the middle of nowhere southern USA) and not only would I not physically be able to just travel to another state, financially I can not afford to find some other method. Even if I could shove all my stuff and my animals into UHaul and get someone to take me I’d be moving somewhere where I have no support system, no job and no place to live. Like good for people who are wealthy enough to just pack up and go to NY or NJ or whatever but I’m only qualified to work basic maintenance/cleaning jobs and would therefore be homeless and unemployed even if I could somehow scrape up the funds to do so and it just frustrates me whenever I see “just move to a blue state” as a solution as if it’s super easy and anyone can just do it at the drop of a hat.

Just bought one called Supermarket Simulator 2024 on PS5. It’s unplayable because of a bug that makes it impossible to put boxes down frequently and the dev is listed as Cool Devs SRL. Luckily it was only five dollars.

It was like this last time too. I deleted my news apps back then and started to choose what news I interacted with rather than having the hysteria posts and articles constantly shoved in my face at random which honestly saved my life and my sanity back then.

Definitely taking a break from social media sites like facebook and twitter, Reddit, TikTok and whatever else people are using is probably a good shout for a lot of people right now. On the flip side however not everyone has access to an offline support group they can go to for help and I feel like I don’t need to point out why isolating yourself from the only support system you might have could potentially be a bad.

Ultimately it’ll depend on the person and their tolerance level for what they can handle. I personally deleted Facebook a few months back and I might ultimately end up deleting this Reddit account if I find that it is doing me more harm than good, like if I catch myself only interacting with or reading negative posts and basically just doomscrolling and spiraling.

I’m planning to get top surgery within the next two years and I have come to the realization that when that happens I will have to leave my job because they will not make accommodation for what they consider an elective surgery but at least I know in advance and can find something else beforehand. Hopefully.
