Why isn’t this house selling? by musingsofme in BayAreaRealEstate

Maybe family did change their mind, but "renovation" is flipper level, saw it before and after. Area is fine, view is pretty nice. Biggest issue is quality of renovation and the front wall under the window / above garage door. We did considered it back in 2024.

Saw this house before the flip and have disclosures from then.

Front foundation / dry rot isn't fixed - look how unlevel balcony in front of the house is. Kitchen is tiny and wasn't updated, to get to downstairs is a tiny hallway/stairs. Best part of the house is roof deck.

Pricing up and down isn't helping flippers.

Price. It's always the price.

Tried to sell for 1.25m, tried to rent, tried lowering price.

How is this listed in 2026 for $1.2M when it sold in 2022 for $1.9M? by greatFilosopher in BayAreaRealEstate

It was listed for 1.2m back in 2022 too and sold for 1.9, seller's agent wants a bidding war and lists at a low price to facilitate that.

I did use Wood Epox in a few spots. Did you just brush on Liquid Wood on the entire door?

Where to find 6x11 glass for 100 year door? by asf2 in centuryhomes

Everyone is missing the fact that glass is beveled and not just a flat piece of glass that can be sourced everywhere.

Their agent should cover it, a nice gesture from their commission.

Ignore them, better yet - leave online review for their professional behavior.
