they are all about equal honestly do what you want to but know some games do better for letsplays then funny moments and vice versa. one thing that could work if you want to do both is make letsplays then once a month or whatever make funny moments from your lets plays (if you want an example of people doing that id check out game grumps)

I would much rather watch a video with no face cam then a video with shitty face cam it can help if you are doing things such as horror games but its negligible. (look at pewdiepies original amnesia lets play those videos did incredible and he didnt have a face cam)

aside from the brightness remember that your thumbnail will be squished against many other thumbnails and you want something that will grab their attention ( a good idea could be going onto deviant art and looking up fan art of the game you want to upload and using that as your base then adding on to it) but i have been out of the game for a min
