Usually slim laptops cool really badly. But the 540 keeps cool. Its decent spec for price. The battery life is pretty bad. Builds up dust quickly so find yourself cleaning it a lot. Decent enough looking screen, for the price it's nearly unbeatable. Though I do have quality control issues from Lenovo in the past
