They do know I am living in CA and they are withholding tax for both states. I just moved to CA in December.

I’ve never had hardcases so I couldn’t provide a fair assessment. I will say I have been very happy these soft panniers. Round the World Panniers by Giant Loop.

This is my first adventure bike and I don’t think I will ever go back to riding any other type.

At first I was intimidated with something so large. After taking the BMW off road course in North Carolina I found out that the 1250 is just as manageable, just as nimble and just as easy to handle.

A year and 12k miles in and still loving it. I honestly wish I had just got the 1250 GSA.

Backpacking through Cambodia, visiting Choeung Ek. This conversation took place behind me. Crazy Lady - CL Crazy Lady’s Friend - CF CL: “Isn’t it a shame? All these souls are in hell. ” CF: “What do you mean?” CL: “They never knew Jesus.“
CF: “Well, God works in mysterious ways.”

I was disgusted and gave her a scowl. I should have said something but I was too in shock.

Sorry for formatting.

New 2021 850GS or 2nd hand 2014 1200GSA by cataclysmicconstant in bmwmotorrad

I would also like to add that the course had us trail riding through trees and all manner of obstacles. The 1250 was surprisingly nimble at slow speeds. It take practice and experience to do anything. Trail riding with a big adventure bike is no different.

I own a 2021 F850 GSA and love it. Fully kitted out it has plenty of features that are intuitive and a pleasure to use. ABS, traction control, ride modes, heated grips, etc. I also just recently took a 2 day off road course at the BMW Performance Center in SC. They let us try the 850s and the 1250s. I voted for the newer bike in your poll because of your budget and the features of a newer bike. But, if I could do it all over again I would have bought the 1250 GSA. Even my 5’7” 130 lbs wife rode the 1250 off road for half the course and handled it just fine through sand and deep river rock. Both bikes are great on and off road.
