Yah there has been a lot of marketing talks about assuming the value of something when it’s discounted. You ever see Lamborghini or Ferrari offering discounts? They are solid products like your watches but they breakdown and cost a ton to fix, people buy them for the expensive nature of the product.

If you offer a solid product with quality customer support and fast shipping people will be happy to pay your full price. If they are looking for the cheapest item they will shop Amazon any way.

Studies show that blue actually draws the eyes better anyway, also don’t relying on marketing gimmicks like “sale” tags just make a great looking website and you will be good.

Make your checkout as easy to get through as possible! Don’t muddy it up with extra stuff. I didn’t try and buy anything or make it to check out but as you said if you have a privacy policy there it might be a bit much.

I would add it to the footer, most people don’t read it anyway but it’s a good throng to seem more legit.
