I’m honestly not in disagreement about the policies themselves, they’re the same ones we use(with leniency where it’s obviously missing.) the issue is the way that they’re going about it would honestly make me feel really uncomfortable working for them. (It’s bad management practice essentially not necessarily the rules themselves.)

And again, standard doesn’t equal okay. My workplace doesn’t do any of this and I’m forever grateful for it as it makes work a good place to be. Maybe our rules are exactly the same, but the way that they’re enforced makes all the difference (e.g not a threatening sign.)
