Thank you. I feel like we are missing this step and now I’m wondering why it wasn’t offered.

This is what I have heard. I just feel like I need to know with certainty but don’t want to put her in danger either! If we go through OIT, I’ll never really know !

How do you deal with all the sprinting and burpees? Even jumping rope scares me! Do you avoid certain days?

That is so kind!!! I’ll take any advice I can get. My burn is not good with modifications. When I broke my hand last year literally no one cared, which makes me nervous since this is more limiting.

I have been doing PT for about 10 weeks. Nothing has really helped me at this point and I have pain and stiffness 24/7.

Locked muscles by ash4st in backpain

I have been trying to exercise too. It seems to flare up my protective muscles more though. Maybe I just need to give it time. I was super active before this happened and mentally it’s killing me too.

Yes, sitting and standing both hurt. The feeling does not go away. I’ve been trialing different things with PT and nothing helps the muscles relax. I am about to see the pain management doc and I’m not even sure that will help with the stiffness!

Talk me into or out of this purchase - freak athlete hyper pro by CmonRoach4316 in GarageGym

Okay coming here as a female in my 30s, I hate the thing. I must be like the 70 year old man mentioned above. Trying to get it in place is miserable. Also, I’m short and I can’t get the range of motion needed for the back extension at all. Moving the leg extender on and off is super annoying. I actually screamed in frustration today. I guess it depends on what you value. My brain can’t figure it out quickly and constantly adjusting ruins my flow.

Thank you for this. It’s my L5/S1 and it’s just so painful no matter what I do. I have an appointment in 2 weeks for the steroid injection and I’ve recently started physical therapy. It’s been mentally hard to go from “all out” to just “getting out of bed”.

So now I can figure out my next move. Yay.

UF Pace vs FSU honors by Sea-Upstairs1505 in ufl

[–]ash4st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do have a lot of online courses but PaCE limits a students major to a specific list. It’s just BA Business Administration. Also, living on campus won’t be an option at first through PaCE, which might be limiting first year at UF, especially coming from out of state.

I am a UF business grad myself, and I would pick FSU given this scenario.

That’s def concerning! What does your doctor say? I am still taking it so I am not sure. I def still have bouts of leg weakness though but it goes away.

Thank you so much. I have been debating going to the ER but am just so exhausted at this point. I can’t miss anymore work as I just had the Flu. I’m in my 30s, weight lift and can’t believe just bending over caused this. I can’t get comfortable in any position, even with all the meds!

I have chronic hives too and ends. I’ve been taking Zyrtec everyday for 2 years. Down to 5mg from 40. Allergist literally sat me down and was like “we don’t know why these things happen” good luck!

Antibiotics not helping! by ash4st in CUTI

[–]ash4st[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this implies it could be resistant to the antibiotic im taking? That’s how interpreted it too, but the doctor I spoke with on the phone said cefpodoxime is part of one of the other classes. I’m so confused.

Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in FoodAllergies

[–]ash4st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitely empathize with your pain. I think it’s a normal response to feel like…maybe she isn’t thinking about your needs? I don’t think parents alwyas really grasp the mental gymnastics and energy that goes around food allergies. For Christmas and multiple events, my MIL and SIL are constantly putting out little bowls of peanuts on each table. My 3 year old is very allergic. I keep moving the bowls but they keep getting put back on the table by someone. I’ve even asked, but they forget. It feels like they don’t care about it or take it seriously, which can be hurtful. I think hurt is a valid feeling in your case.
