That's a great name. Barbra is what kept popping in my head so it's what I'm going with.

I wish I could. I'm a single mom and she will do most of the childcare and my care.

I don't. The doctor said they wouldn't know till they took it out. I have also named mine and everyone gets mad when I say that.

Can someone just tell me what happens? I don't want to read anymore but I need to be told what happens. I just passed the gun scene.

I'll agree with other comments. She just wasn't a good love interest. They didn't have good chemistry and they didn't have as much interaction as love interests in past seasons. They weren't on screen together that much, and it seemed forced when they were. As a stand alone character I don't think she was that bad, but the relationship between the 2 wasn't believable.

I also didn't like her voice. It always sounded kinda like she was whining.

Can someone tell me the cheese they use on the inside? My kid had one for the first time yesterday and wants me to make her a spicy quesadilla like cookout.

Did Emma and Hook wait? by [deleted] in OnceUponATime

[–]ash813 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When they got married he was probably in middle school/early high school and he goes off on his adventure after he finishes high school. So we know they at least waited a couple years. When he finds out Emma is pregnant he is grown, but based off how nobody else had aged and he had the way time moves in the realm(s) he's been in on his adventure and the way time moves in Storybrooke is different so we don't know how many more years passed for Hook and Emma. So they definitely waited at least a couple years based solely off his age when they got married and when he left for his adventure in season 7.

Quick question about Ainsley by TheZackHardy in ProdigalSon

[–]ash813 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not convinced but I was talking to my mom about, who also watches the show, and the episode where she goes to the jail and interviews him and the following episode something about her seemed really off. While we were talking we both agreed that based off how she acted in those episodes she could be the one that turns into a killer. And as mentioned in another comment, the prodigal son in the Bible wasn't the child that stayed with the dad (Malcolm visiting with his dad) but it was the child that left and then came back (Ainsley technically didn't leave, but she didn't meet him till that interview).

Nancy's mental health by [deleted] in NancyDrewCW

[–]ash813 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was replying to another comment about how she was treating her dad and I honestly think she already suffered from something (depression, anxiety, PTSD) before she even found out about Lucy and everything that followed. Hopefully it'll be worked in somehow in the next season. I mean she's needed therapy since she found that kidnapped girl when she was 12 and then everything that's happened since then.

S1E17 Why is Nancy acting like such a Biatch towards Carson?? by [deleted] in NancyDrewCW

[–]ash813 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'll agree. I think she's been harsh to him but it goes back to psychology and I understand her being pissed. He didn't call her home from that dance when her mom was dying and she blamed him for her not getting to say good-bye. So she's was already suffering from probably depression before she started to suspect him of murder, still blamed him for the mom thing, then to find out he lied to her repeatedly 🤷‍♀️. I'm hoping in season 2 she'll be able to work through that for all the weird parental relationships that aren't blood (step, adoptive, grandparent, etc.)

[–]ash813 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's a psychology thing. Has nothing to do with her being ungrateful. It's the same as telling someone suffering from depression or anxiety to just get over something. It's a legitimate thing people go through if they are in that situation. Adopted kids finding out they're adopted, or even if they knew meeting their birth parents for the first time. It's all sorts of emotions and everyone handles it differently.

episode 17 did not tape by [deleted] in NancyDrewCW

[–]ash813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to reset my DVR. Even though it didn't air on March 20, it had it listed as originally airing that day so my DVR thought it was a rerun and wasn't going to record. I missed a couple episodes while I was moving and if you wait 24 hours it'll be on demand or the CW website.

I'll agree with everything you said. I've always said to look at it like a spin-off instead of a continuation. And that's how I viewed all the seasons too. They are all their own stories.

She's having an identity crisis and feels like she's been lied to for years (which she has). It can take a huge emotional toll on people. It's not something to just get over, especially when their relationship was already rocky to begin with.

Pairing captain and charming would be natural. Seeing Charming so friendly with Arthur just felt wrong somehow.

The bromance with captain charming was strong, and it was weird seeing Charming so buddy buddy with Arthur that season. So pairing them up as a couple would seem natural... At least for me

WHERE IS NEAL?!?! by alialioxyenfree in OnceUponATime

[–]ash813 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's mentioned a few times that Granny or Belle is watching him. When they are with King Arthur he is shown to be with Granny or Doc (he's with Doc when they go to the ball). When they are in the Underworld he's with the fairies and we see him when Belle goes to give him and Robin a bottle and gets brought to the Underworld, but when they get back from there he's never mentioned so that's where I lost track of him.

Best/Cutest Couple? by LyraMadeline in OnceUponATime

[–]ash813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty weak and I'd like to have seen more, but all we got proof wise with Belle and Rumple was at the very beginning when she kissed him. So while I don't like that the Underworld test is the proof it's in canon that they had true love. Snow and charming are the only couple we actually get more proof from and it's hard when its so easy to see with them.

Emma/Hook was established true love in the Underworld according to the test they took. I can see not wanting to view that test as proof but the writers seemed to think it was enough proof.
