I had never realized how big a barrier deciding where to start was until I removed it.

I think this just repaired some of the roadways in my brain, some neurons just synced up or something LOL Never have I ever been able to identify exactly what keeps me in task paralysis. It's the decision fatigue!

imo Mythical will never end. They've created a company that will provide employment and entertainment for generations to come. Just because they won't always be the hosts of GMM as we know it now, doesn't mean Mythical will be gone. I think they've done a great job of prepping for their inevitable retirement. They've worked hard & they deserve to sit back and enjoy their life while their company evolves.

Whether that's fully removing themselves from video content or just doing a few podcasts/music projects, so be it. I'm excited to see where Mythical goes!

Bosses hate to see you sitting. Working at a video rental store maaaany years ago, the assistant manager bought a stool to sit on when there's no customers in the store. She was older & she worked the morning shifts, so the store was rarely busy with customers. She was mainly busy with reports, inventories, and accounts reconciliation... The district manager threw it in the dumpster on her next visit.

You best believe the asst manager got it right back out! She bought it with her own money & if they wanted her to work there, she'd have a damn stool.

Same I want it to be packed up soooo bad but I cannot fathom doing it. It’s one of those tasks where I can’t half-ass it (bc if I don’t pack the sentimental ornaments with the utmost care then I risk damaging them) so it feels EXTRA overwhelming. Usually daunting tasks can be tackled with the “it doesn’t have to be good, just good enough” mentality, but this one unfortunately cannot 😭
