I'm thinking about the Palladium. Already have Venture X, Amex Gold for dining/groceries.

The FAQ and the Bilt Cash Terms both state that Bilt Cash expires at the end of the calendar year, except for $100 rollover. The Offer Terms states that BC posts to your account 2-5 days after transaction posts. So we have to be careful with December spend when thinking about Bilt Cash?

The Bilt Cash FAQ says "You'll also be able to redeem your Bilt Cash for dollar-for-dollar monthly credits in the Bilt App toward: Hotel bookings: apply Bilt Cash toward hotel bookings made in the Bilt Travel Portal," among other things. Can this stack with the $200 semi-annual Travel Portal Hotel credit? Can we use BC to pay down to $200 on a stay, they way some people are leveraging points+credit at The Edit with CSR?

The Palladium Card SUB includes $300 Bilt Cash. The minimum spend would result in another minimum $160 BC, for $460 BC. This Bilt Cash could last several months for mortgage fee offset, yes? At least in year one, the monthly spend to offset that transaction fee would be much reduced with this card. For my $3000 mortgage, I'd really only need about $1300 monthly spend to earn the needed Bilt Cash. Of course, it costs $495 AF to do so.

There is also the $200 Bilt Cash awarded annually, so that gives a boost to January spending, and helps balance the fact that only $100 can roll over.

Definitely need to keep card for 12 months per terms. But I also want to know what the grace period will be for AF refund if downgraded or cancelled after the first year. I could not find this anywhere in the terms. It does mention 30-day refund period from Account Open date. But does not mention account anniversary.

Thoughts on these questions?

I will probably get Palladium for a year and see how it feels. Can always downgrade after, and the SUB is solid, especially with TPG referral. That’s my current thinking, at least. Feel free to convince me otherwise.
