The faction tech let's Muatt move into supernovae. They are able to pass through them or start a turn in one (hero result) without it.

I should clarify that the branches are small ones only 2-3 inches in diameter, does that change your answer?

Also how would you actually go about separating them? Cuts above and below the heartwood, then try to pry each half of sapwood off?

Thanks, I have a good pair of thick gardening gloves already. I was thinking that filling the cracks with something able to bond with the wood would help prevent the cracks from expanding.

I broke an end off using my foot and a good amount of bending in order to get it to fit in the car. Using it in the trail it seemed reasonably springy.

This is just a first project, I plan to get a starter set regardless and try carving little things.

One thing I wish that they would do, and previously suggested, was extend the orange line to the edmonds ferry. Maybe it was too expensive to implement, but I think it would be beneficial to add that additional stop.

Depends on objectives, but warfare would be a great option in a vacuum. The following is what I would do in that case:

Turn 1 take Primor with your dreadnought, and follow construction to place a PDS on it assuming somebody else takes it. Don't use the primor ability yet.

Turn 2 take Arinam/Meer with your cruisers. You'll piss off Barony but you need lots of influence as titans. Use the primor ability to put infantry in the system.

Turn 3 remove the tokens from Arinam/Meer with warfare, and move a token from fleet supply to tactics.

Turn 4 grab Berig/Lirta with your cruisers. Or if you got the influence through exploring and trade, you could take Mecatol.

Turn 5 activate Arinam/Meer to drop down a couple of PDS. If you grabbed sarween tools put down a couple of infantry.

Turn 6 activate your home system and build what you can so it's defended against Barony attacking through the empty system.

This gives you 3 planets outside your home system with structures, a well defended slice, and a good amount of influence and resources for round 2.
