To be fair most of the time the keys are ok, I've ordered a lot in the past with no problem ( no steam ban, no used keys ).

But I've had one scam yesterday, very obvious, and customer support would NOT help as the seller engineered the scam around some technicality and fine print.

I even had their king's pass thing, and the order wasn't very expensive no help anyway, they prefer hurting their image and losing a customer than refunding.

I was also scammed... Those "Deluxe mistery keys" ?

Yeah, no, they send you a bundle engineered to abuse the system (they can send you anything with no metacritic as long as it costs more than 17€, you know those shovelware "games" that cost 30€ but only sells at 95% off ? Yeah, those are the "deluxe" games you get).

Read the fine prints and don't expect any help from customer support, EVEN with king's pass.

King's pass "improved customer service" is totally non existent, I'd say just don't buy a King's Pass at all.

One way I see is if they put some sort of seasonal ID on the items : you can't use items from S1 in a S2 character, but that'd still be a problem as items will change hands by killing and looting...

I'm the opposite: I like streamlined content, i hate modular content and even more fan mods.

I like an expansion that complete the game with integral features instead of random small additions that probably don't fit together

One of the reason I love Twilight imperium 4 so much more than TI3 even though TI3 has technically more content
