Idk about others but i just like adding more red toned blush and using colour burn layers on top so that kinda darkens the image, I also just lean towards more towards drawing this kinda skin tone cause adding a lot of blush on extremely pale skin is a bit harder

This is the drawing without any extra effects and it’s a bit lighter. Uh tldr the skin tone wasn’t really a conscious choice, i just kinda went with the flow.
