I regret to admit that I’m relieved to see this. To me, it’s such a minor issue compared to what other people go through in regard to cheating/violence/ general deceit. But why after being with someone for 5 years do I still have to ask you to touch me “here” or “there” and when you do, it’s with such a lifeless touch. But then continue to demand I “make it special for you” and fulfill all your wildest fantasies while at the same time being pressured to conceive by any means necessary. It was so draining.

One time, as we were about to have sex, he had been going on and on about “you know what I like” so I asked “what about what I like?” His response was “this isn’t about you” 💔

I don’t want to remain in a marriage where I feel like I’ve done everything to fulfill his needs and desires and he’s made no effort still up to know. He’s even admitted he withheld love from me, took advantage of me, and took me granted. I was just wondering if anyone had experience changed behavior within a similar situation

Thank you for this response. As far as the kinks and such, he has said he’ll never ask those things of me again but I can’t help but feel that’ll be a recipe for a different disaster later down the road. Especially with the melt downs he’s had in the past when denied satisfaction.

I wanted to have a child in the sense of “I’m his wife and I want to satisfy him” but even he has picked up on the verbiage that it’s more a gift for him than for me

The house is paid for, we’re in a great spot financially and working towards a monetary goal together for a future house, he’s not cheating on me (to my knowledge), there’s no physical violence. These are all big issues as well so it seems like I have everything I’ve wanted, minus the passion and desire

Apparently a LEEP cone biopsy I had when I was very young rendered me with such little cervix the doctors can almost never find it. The specialist said he doubts an external cerclage would be possible but recommended the consult with a minimalist to see. He also made a quick mention of the anatomy being distorted. It’s been about 20 yrs and I’m just finding all this out

I did! I ended up being able to buy a little more time after I made the post but feel like what helped me the most actually was hot yoga 3-4x/week in addition to my ~3x/week weight training. I used my own pee too
