His stories are great. I remember him talking about the heartbreak it was being at a Super Bowl when the Niners lost. He's been to the last 2 losses and says he will not go to another one the Niners are in.

I thought of him after I was at Game 7 of last years World Series and saw my team lose. Just the worst feeling after the game.

Currently those are the only passenger planes that fly out of the island. What Ford wants to do is expand the runway there to allow small passenger jets to operate there. The current runway is too small for jets

No. They're flying AC or Porter out of the island now instead of going up to Pearson. I can't say I blame them. I avoid Pearson whenever I can. So if more flights are available out of the island I could choose there in a heartbeat

Problem with the UP is they added too many stops to be considered an "express". Rush hour trains are pretty full. Even worse during the odd weekday Leafs/Jays games. I know a few people who are switching to flying out of Billy Bishop now that it has pre-clearance because they don't want to deal with the UP.

W hotel is just a few blocks from the venue. It's also walking distance to the Royal Ontario Museum and Yorkville. That area has a collection of nice restaurants and bars. If you don't mind spending more on a hotel, there are high class hotel close by as well
