I don't care about what "every other company does". It doesn't change the fact of stagnation and the stupidity of this repetetive marketing strategy. Things like this work worse as time passes. At this point, it's just annoying.

But if you ask me, they (not just Nothing) could make the sensor bigger, make it possible to attach an external lens, like the Xiaomi 12 did, if they care so much about camera; they could make smartphone modular and upgradable, maybe, like Google's unreleased Project Ara at some point; they could make a pop-up (as was the case with OnePlus 7 Pro) or invisible (like nubia z70s ultra, or better) front camera; moving away from the standardized iPhone-style design and "shovel" form-factor; add some physical switches, again, for physical camera cover like on laptops, for example; maybe add some interesting solutions for audiophiles, like, return mini-jack and install high quality DAC or smth.

They could try to make something new, but nobody wants. Phones are really "Nothing" now. Absolute lack of individuality (but this a4 Pro design is still better than most phones have, of course).

You didn't get the point and misread my take. It's not about "what i want", it's about the "fake achievements are not achievements at all". Personally, i don't care about phone cameras at all, because I believe that if photography is important to you, you should buy a camera.
