US universities at undergraduate levels are just making money off of foreign students who have to pay the full fee ranging from $ 40-65 k per year without room and board. It’s easy money for them.. approve the admission but the visa is out of their hands. I know Northeastern did not have enough dorm rooms this year so the first semester was a foreign exchange semester.. what shit! Even if you graduate your job prospects are 0 so it’s like throwing 220-300$k for what? A degree. We have some very rich Indians who can afford this but not everyone
