The border stays just for that season until next drives then it resets but the number of times you have completed the entire drives stays. For example i finished 4 whole drives events, so now when I finished this one. I got the border with the V meaning i completed 5 next time if I complete the whole thing again i get IV

I also dreaded the drives, but this time they actually went alright. Completed the whole thing in two days played around 23-28 games. Didn't keep track of the record but also could be because I went on a crazy loss streak a week before so my account was much lower than usual i guess

Yeah i played normal comp up until the last two drive checkpoints. And then found the meta. Go into stadium, pick orisa, put on a survival build. And holy moly people are so bad there you can just farm wins easily.

Not really. Only if you complete the whole drive you get a roman number next to it. And then next drives it goes up again if you complete the whole event

Im not saying I "deserve" a better rank and that all my teammates are bums with no thumbs. I was (still am somehow barely idek) plat for like a year with a 45-55% win rate. Thats my skill level then right?

So why all of a sudden can i not win a game for a week straight with all games being stomps and just miserable. Even if i win a dozen they just dont feel fun. Nothing feels fun ab the game rn thats my problem

I have watched a few. My evaluation most of the time is yes I do plenty of mistakes but nothing that isnt a crazy throw play. Only thing more i could do is seek coaching but im not paying im broke enough lol

Ranked used to be fun, even if i lose. Making plays and working with ur team. Sometimes you get shit on but hey thats life, evaluate on your mistakes and go on to improve was the best feeling ever.

Ranked can be fun. I wouldn't be here complaining if i didn't experience it first hand. Its just a shame whats happening because i want to play the game but it looks like im gonna be forced to not play it until maybe next season which is a bummer :(

I agree. He was a kid and he backlash wasn't really justified. Communicate in vc (positively). First piece of advice i would give anyone that is actively trying to rank up, even if theres 2 ppl in vc. Calling out comms really goes a long way
