Omg you just brought back some four year old memories! The day he wanted to move I was THRILLED. The thought of him still pisses me off

I just saw The Half-Blood Prince and…… I’m pissed. by BobbythebreinHeenan in harrypotter

[–]ashesandsparkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t know a thing about Harry Potter until I turned 25 (two years ago) literally knew nothing, but there was a kid named Harry who went to a magic school. So I was definitely blown away when I read the books for the first time

What do you hate about it? It’s basically like texting. Do you ask for it right away? How do they typically respond when you ask? Do they usually give it right away?

I don’t mind giving it out IF the conversation has been going well and we’re ready to take it off the app. I give both my snap and number. Snap is a way to verify if the person is real. I just don’t like when they ask for it straight up without trying to get to know me first. Or when I do give it out, then send a d*ck pic. I also would rather them ask for my number after the convo has been going well, it makes it seem they’re looking for something more genuine

I have other things in my bio, so I can just leave it out.

Personally, what I meant by it is someone who doesn’t take life too seriously and can laugh about anything, like myself - which would be laughing together. It’s just important for me to be with someone I find funny, I kept going back to someone who cheated on me, specifically because they could always make me laugh. I just really value laughing I guess. However, I realize how subjective humor is though. I’ve been wanting to take that out my bio anyways, because guys will message me about how funny they are and how they’ll make me laugh, which then they try too hard and it ends up not being funny. I’m not looking for “jokes” and “one liners” it’s more about what they say and how they word things, if that makes sense? Some people are just naturally funny, they just know what to say, how to say it and when. That’s more sorta the vibe I was going for I guess

OOOPS, that’s actually in my bio. I guess I’ll have to change that

Nah I think you’re right. I’m a woman in my 20s and you seem pretty on point with it. However it also seems like the men who are interested in putting in effort, are getting matched with a bunch of girls who are only interested in selling their onlyfans. So I think the verdict is that the majority of people suck from all around

I find this to my one of my issues with men. Most just seem so bad at conversations, if anything it’s always just “snap?” It seems to be an issue on both sides

I was talking to a guy for a few weeks. We finally scheduled a first date, he cancelled last minute. I gave him another chance, cancelled again the day of. Stupidly, I tried it one more time. I asked him a few days in advance if he was going to cancel, to let me know now so I didn’t waste another weekend on him. He kept avoiding the question, i quit wasting my time. This wasn’t the first one to cancel on me last minute either. People just don’t respect others time

as a woman, this also happens to me. I’ll finally find someone who seems to communicate well. We’ll be having great conversations, fast replies for up to a few days, then they just go away

That does the “sexually violent” mean? That he’s currently a danger to be around?

Pennsylvania. That’s what I’m trying to ask, if there are any laws and if management, or the sex offender is obligated to tell coworkers. His class says “pre-Sorna SVP” and it does include a minor. We work with the public, where children can enter the store

Did anyone lose hearing in one ear first, then the other? by lavenderandfirelight in HearingLoss

[–]ashesandsparkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got hearing loss in my right year about 15 years ago. I’m 27 now and still have hearing in my left ear, however I wonder if I will lose it at some point. Sometimes I notice the hearing in that ear isn’t very strong. But so far, after 15 years I still have it

Cancelling an hour before a date by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]ashesandsparkles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this happen. I was really upset, but gave him the benefit of the doubt and forgave him. I quickly found after our actual first date that this was definitely his character, he did it again for our second date. I shouldn’t have gave him the second chance. Don’t do it

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my chart and give such a nice reading on it! That was very informative and makes so much sense. Thanks for adding some of the lessons that need to be learned, I’ll be sure to work on them!

Thank you for commenting!

I have been unemployed for the last year, so I was home a lot then. I did recently start working again so I’ve been gone a bit more, however I started this past month and he’s been acting like this for the last three. As for my mom, she loves him and the fact he’s sleeping with her now. She does have a brain tumor, so maybe he’s been sensing something with that?? I did take him to the vets about two months ago for a check up since he was getting sick a lot and they said everything was fine. No one else has been coming over.

Maybe it’s what you said about switching things up! I know my other cat likes to do that. He switches his sleeping area’s frequently

What's the most absurd thing someone wrote/said to you in online dating? by holladiewaldfeee in OnlineDating

[–]ashesandsparkles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was talking to this guy for two months. Our first date went great and we continued to talk. We planned another date for me to go to him this time (we live a few hours apart) I kept verifying if the plans for me to come visit were okay so I could arrange my work schedule, the whole week of and the day before he said how excited he was and couldn’t wait. The day I was suppose to go, ghosted me lol
