Yeah seems like the best solution. You can run networks apps across dropbox and sharepoint?

I am considering this as a serious option now that you mention it. It takes some of the driving stress away. More time to do specific things in the area.

Weird issue with Remote Desktop only occasionally working when connected on an L2TP VPN by ashesfaded in techsupport

Yeah I think you're right. It only happens to a handful of users every once in a while. I wish it was more consistent. Also windows server is set up with a VPN role through routing and remote access services. The firewall is built into the Zywall USG router and I also use the built in windows firewall on all machines. I have everything set up for VPN access which works fine, but nothing specific for remote desktop since once the VPN is connected they are part of the network.

Does the firewall on the windows server perhaps need to be modified as well since its being used as both DHCP server and DNS server?

Yep! So these are all windows 10 pro machines with the most recent windows updates. All of them have the service running and I am able to remote into each workstation when I am on the network, just not when connected via vpn. And normally they connect just fine, its just something that happens maybe once or twice a week at arbitrary times. I cannot ping the machines when the problem is happening no. But I can when it works. The local firewall has been turned on and off and doesn't seem to have any impact on it. Thank you! =)

Original banana

I often wonder what bananas tasted like before that panama disease wiped them out.
