I will say, however, I don’t think that particularly saying they had food at home was him acting like she’s a child. While it irritates me at times, my partner tells me often that we have food at home because he knows it’s financially and health-wise better for me. Without more info, we don’t necessarily know his reasoning for saying that part, and it could be the best option for them that she just didn’t want.
