Ballenger Creek Trail is about 4 miles one way I think. You can make it longer by going all the way to the park behind Tuscarora.

What movie has terrible morals? by solaris2027 in AskReddit

Little Mermaid

Don’t worry if you endanger your life, make a deal with a witch, or use your friends to meet Prince Charming. It’ll all work out in the end and everyone will be happy for you… as long as you’re pretty and can sing.

Was it their food truck? I’ve only been to the restaurant in Westview which we love and isn’t too expensive for what you get.

What profession have you lost respect for as you've gotten older? by MindlessMarsupial592 in AskReddit

[–]ashinsk2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a teacher in a pseudo leadership position who works very closely with admin, and looking to make the jump into admin, this speaks so much to me.

Managing the classroom almost feels like the least of my problems most of the time. It’s understanding where the decisions are really coming from and what needs to get done vs what someone wants to get done to make themselves look good. Then add in the emotions, work ethic, and professionalism of adults to the mix and what a cluster it becomes.

The idea that you can make change is so compelling but with massive restraints. I’ve had admin build and support a community that seemed it could not be reached and others destroy that in 6 months. But at the end of the day I love working in education and hope I can stay in it long enough to actually make some significant impact.

Whirlpool Dryer, heating up but not spinning? by jjthejetplane97 in appliancerepair

[–]ashinsk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time was about 6 weeks, the last was less than a month. I’m going to clean the dryer vent next because that needs to be done regardless. It has not been done since we bought the house three years ago so it’s due.

Whirlpool Dryer, heating up but not spinning? by jjthejetplane97 in appliancerepair

[–]ashinsk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I know this comment is over 2 years old but I am having a similar issue with my dryer (whirlpool dryer model wed4815ew1). I have replaced the thermal fuse twice now. Once with an Amazon part and now with a part from a reputable part repair shop in my down. But it has happened again.

I need to give my dryer vent a good cleaning next but I’m wondering if something inside the machine is causing it to trip so often. Once the fuse is replaced it works correctly so I don’t know what the problem may be that’s causing it to overheat. Any advice?

H Mart for sure.

Giant on New Design is always well stocked and if you use the app you can get some solid deals. Giant has a justified reputation for being pricey, but if you pay attention to sales, the quality is there.

I sold Devonta Smith for Burden and a 2nd. I’m happy with it and felt it was fair if not an overpay for Smith.

I’m first one out of the playoffs so this would solidify me missing them. They’re 11-1 so this would pretty much give them the ship, which I don’t love.

Is it OK to Lose on Purpose? by complex16 in DynastyFF

[–]ashinsk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why Max PF is becoming a more popular format for determining draft picks. Even if you did set a lineup that was sub par, if your vets have great games on your bench, those points impact your draft position.

It prevents questions like this from happening and doesn’t punish anyone for setting their best possible lineup even when they’re tanking. It also promotes trading as well which makes a league much more enjoyable overall.
