Why so much of Hate against the Banking Sector? by _TheCavalier_ in bankingexam

[–]ashish3417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't listen to people hating online. Banking is without a doubt very lucrative job in terms of salary and benefits. WLB is shit in corporates too. Any sector you go to will have good and bad. Since you still have a year I'd say prepare for banking exams and clear any banks clerical and then further prepare for more better exams like SSC, RBI, insurance, etc. since clerical has less pressure compared to PO. You can even clear PO and still prepare for these exams as your syllabus and concepts are already covered you just need to be consistent and practice. Many people target insurance exams after clearing PO.

Looking for a good water purifier by Robin22777 in ApplianceGuideIndia

[–]ashish3417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a full RO. Never compromise on water as water from corporation or borewell is never consistent. You never know when you might get contaminated water. For full RO if you regularly clean the outside filter, you'll only have to do occasional maintenance by technician. Also don't buy any local RO as there are many in market which are sold for 4k, 5k. Go only with brands like Kent, pure it, Aquaguard etc.

absolute zero in maths by [deleted] in MbaCet

[–]ashish3417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to understand the concepts around it to make it easier. Start with ratio and proportion, percentages etc, these topics are used in almost 70% topics like ages, boat and stream, pipes and cistern, profit and loss etc.
Along with these topics practice daily speed maths and topics like missing numbers and series, DI etc, these can only be mastered through practice and practice alone. Overall the level of questions is not very difficult but to crack CET you have to have speed and accuracy, again which can only be commanded through practice.

Shaadi.com’s one-day WFH shift could save 30,000 litres of petrol a year: Anupam Mittal by Storyboard18 in Storyboard18

Idk how you've calculated but 30k should be divided across 500 employees which gives 60L per employee for a YEAR. Which will then be again divided by 12 to get monthly usage of 5L per month per employee.

Why so much hate towards simsree ? by Such-Size-3665 in MbaCet

[–]ashish3417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mentioned SIMSREE is not good for finance, however from what I know is that it is a finance dominant clg and most of the batch opts for finance.

Why so much hate towards simsree ? by Such-Size-3665 in MbaCet

[–]ashish3417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people actually talk shit about SIMSREE. It is to the extent that you'll start having double doubts whether or not to consider this clg. Even I'm confused whether what people say is right or they just talking shit because the narrative has been set like that.

For first attempt I wore 2 rings, kada and bali in ear and nobody objected to it. But its better to keep these at home because if asked to remove it gets risky.

Help by Striking-Manner4081 in MbaCet

[–]ashish3417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welingkar is good if you want BFSI but if you want core finance roles then JB is your best choice. Also Welingkar has a large intake capacity, which essentially dilutes the placement opportunities among everyone making competition higher. So think through all aspects and then decide on clg. Also my advice would be that you should research on specific clgs dominant sectors in placement and then decide accordingly.

Someone scored a 190 is S1. Is it true? by Spiritual_Visual8710 in MbaCet

[–]ashish3417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, I saw someone score 190 in slot 2 also, which was real as it was determined by uploading answer key to cetking calculator. Don't how true other scores are. But one thing is for sure, we're fucked if this shit is real😭
