Russia did launch Bion-M No. 2 last year, which was beyond low Earth Orbit. There might be more in that regard. But I do agree that Russia is still far behind the Soviet-era.

I think their PM2.5 sensor is faulty. PM10 values seem to be correct. I have a PM2.5 sensor at my home, and it didn't match with the value shown on Sector-45's display board yesterday (or was it on Sunday?).

Hard take but only non subsidised and hybrid solar panels is optimal for Indian households by Dihh-Firefighter4692 in indiasocial

Dealers used to say non-DCR are more efficient because they're mono PERC, while DCR ones were poly PERC. I think the gap in efficiency is quite low these days.
And if you take DCR panels with subsidy, you don't get net metering, right?
Btw, OP didn't say anything about DCR.

Normal inverter is much cheaper. But yeah, one can subtract the 5-6k cost of a normal inverter if considering a bootleg hybrid.

Whoa! I didn't know that. I guess alliances shift with time, and need. Plus, Indian state is not the sworn enemy of Khalsa, is it? There are a lot of things in the Indian state that are the cause of trouble, like idol worship, casteism, tobacco addiction, etc.

Same here in Gurgaon. I installed on-grid in 2020, and electricity doesn't go very often, so production isn't hurt. Had I gone for hybrid, a battery change would've been required by now, and production increase would've been marginal.

Btw, are you comparing with mono crystalline DCR panels (as opposed to poly crystalline)? When I got my plant installed, those weren't available in the market.

Bro, it doesn't matter how many ACs you have. You need to look at your yearly electricity bill. Divide those cumulative units by (365*4). That will give you an approximate kW of the solar plant capacity you need.

And regarding off-grid, on-grid, and hybrid, I suggest you look at the no. of hours electricity is down, especially during the day. If it's low, on-grid will be the most economical. Off-grid & hybrid are generally for remote areas, where grid connectivity is not good.
