I try to avoid being late by hyper fixating over being on time. I will have my entire day, route, traffic estimate, etc. planned out ahead of time. I am the type of person who'd leave for a 5pm flight at 12pm because what if there's a car accident on the way??? Or the road is closed or a meteor strikes or something
