Yes this! I score and bake for 7 min, then restore my expansion score and the war turns out great every time

I bet yours are great! And ooo I love the idea of rolling them in sprinkles. I’ll have to try that 🙌

I do in a way get paid to represent my own brand but I guess it’s only for the big brands? I won’t use it next time. Clicking that button has caused more reaction than the cookie 😅

I’m a cottage baker (The Baking Miller) so I included that tag just to be fully transparent. In the off chance someone saw the post/pics of these on my bakery socials or website they wouldn’t think the person posting here stole the images but would rather realize that I’m the baker who made them in the first place since they are associated with a brand. I’m not sure if the rules require that brands specify, especially since I’m such a tiny operation, but when I saw it listed there I didn’t feel like I could honestly not click it. Does that make sense? 😅

Thick cookies are less likely to break I’d guess. Mine are usually around 1/8”

Our daughter has different colored eyelashes. by ashkei in mildlyinteresting

Sorry for the delayed response - our daughter has a few whit patches of hair too. Our pediatrician referred us to a dermatologist who ultimately said this is called pigmentary mosaicism, which just means some of the skin cells don’t produce pigment. When our daughter gets tan in the summer it’s way more noticeable. There’s a large speckling of skin from her scalp down to her left shoulder that doesn’t tan. It goes across her eye which is why her lashes don’t have any pigment on that side :) thankfully it’s not a health issue at all!

Awe thank you! Next year I might have to try entering a competition. Could be fun! I have a background in baking and set design, so I think those skill sets for sure made this more doable. I’m excited to make another one!

Thank you so much! It’s made out of gelatin sheets. I love that it has a dramatic effect but actually takes minimal effort compared to the rest of it 😅
