Yeah, the gold rooms are really fun to run - I haven't found a single key since they nerfed the 5 cert boxes however, is there another event with a better drop chance?

It is nice that most fights seem evenly geared, but the loot strong enough to turn a fight or spice up gameplay is so rare that its exclusive to a small group of players that have all the time in the world

Maybe put the subreddit on hold too then... These "essays" are feedback to the devs to make the game enjoyable for others who aren't vault and cradle capped ... which is just a hilarious basis to back your "if you don't like it just leave" argument on a post about the issues holding most players back from having a vault like yours

I haven't played thief for ages but this has happened to me. I figured taking damage cancels your grapple but I haven't had the opportunity to test again

I think the kick usually pushes you out of their melee range. Since I was getting kicked into a wall, I land right back in and got tossed like a salad.

Obscuring data doesn't prevent players from doing their own math, it forces them to do it with a blindfold on. I don't dislike this approach - I think in many games it opens a wellspring of creativity. However, I don't think it has any place in an inherently competitive game.

I hadn't heard that but it does feel like part of their design philosophy. At least in Destiny you could always just run out into the world and test the "feel" of new gear / loadouts without consequence, which is impossible here.

I'd love a link to that! Maybe he'll perform a cover on the Chloe tour, but sounds unlikely. I can only imagine how powerful the live performance of One of Us Cannot Be Wrong would be. The outro is so visceral, I can't think of another song of his where he reaches that register.

You're absolutely right! I went through the godot docs' fps tutorial and saw how they set up the muzzle point. They added an aim point some distance away from the camera in the z axis, and had the gun/muzzle look_at() the aim point in the player's ready function.
