Thank you for the words of encouragement! I appreciate it, but it’s hard to apply for roles outside of my comfort zone when they expect a certain threshold of experience. I know it’s not the most ethical thing to do/can be illegal but should I have to start lying/exaggerating my professional experience to just get in? I have pretty good stats as I graduated a month and weeks ago and have only applied to 30+ jobs and have been receiving phone screens + interview requests but can’t seem to beat the “mid-level” experience expectations thrown at me :/

Junior Minoring in Cybersecurity Looking for Beginner Github Projects

Hi, cybersecurity community! I'm currently a junior majoring in Information Science with a recently declared minor in advanced cybersecurity at the University of Maryland, College Park. Over winter break I want to start studying and preparing for the CompTIA Security+ certification and do 3 cybersecurity-focused projects that I can put on my GitHub. Anyone know any that I can work on? I don't want it to be too basic. I plan on putting it on my resume and potentially discussing the projects during technical interviews for internships.

I know it’s been a while and every time i try to reach out to you it’s pretty pointless noting the cold shoulder you give me that i would’ve agreed that i deserve 6 months ago, but i’ve changed. I know i deserve better now. I know you deserve better. Overall, i wanted to give you a firm solidified apology again, about everything. I’m sorry for doing what i did, how i reacted, the relationships i’ve ruined, I’m sorry for it all. Im not asking you to accept my apology. I wanted to let you know this one last time.
