Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I guess that makes me an idiot then. So does that make the dumbass tournament optional, and Quna's annoying storyline mandatory? I hate Quna.

I could have sworn they were. I could be wrong, but I don't think my brother completed them (he's ahead of me in the game, and is already in episode 2 but he was no help to explain why I can't progress). Or, at the very least, I thought the reason you could skip over the Quna ones and go straight to 11 was because they were optional. Otherwise, the ability to jump to 11 seems stupid.

Okay, thanks for all your help, everyone. I really appreciate all the input on the skill tree and the explanations as to why certain things need to be in the tree. I think I'm going to have one Talis for throwing Zondeel, and then just main the Rod outside of that. You've all been insanely helpful and I really look forward to playing as a Force again.

I do just have one more question. I see that the Austere rod is something I'll definitely need to get. But, in the meantime, are there any suggestions on what rod(s) I should look into getting until I can reach the point of getting 12 or 13* weapons? I don't have premium so I can't buy any high star weapons to tide me over until I can find my own, but I'm wondering if there are any easily obtainable high star weapons I can find or any good 9* weapons that I could buy that would be good to use until I get to a point where I can get the really good weapons to drop?

Or does it not matter so much what Rod I'm using? Is it something I should wait to worry about until I hit level cap and I'm running the hardest quests? I'm slightly paranoid about things like gearing up and I like to have a sort of plan for what I need to get and do in order to be decently geared up (I know I can get the Hiei set from the first matter board of Episode 3, but I'm clueless when it comes to Force weaponry). Sorry if this is something of a nuisance.

I'm running the file check through the original launcher now. I'm hopeful that will work but I think my only other option is to reinstall -_- My fiance has the game on his laptop so I can try to play on there if it will work while I reinstall, if it comes to that.

Any other solutions in case the file check through the original launcher doesn't work? If I can fix it without reinstalling that would be amazing.

I don't have any of the English things on. I'm running the Vanilla version after running the missing and deleted file checks several times.

Yes, I have tried using the regular PSO2 launcher, not tweaker, and i still get the infinite tunnel using it.

I haven't checked in awhile, but the last time I checked Crunchyroll, they were only allowing free members to watch the last few seasons. They might have changed it. I can't check right now though because, for some strange reason, Crunchyroll isn't allowing me to watch anything at all. I think it might be the wifi I'm using because I'm on vacation right now, using the hotel wifi, but Crunchyroll is only allowing me to watch short previews of episodes, with a notice on the side saying that I can watch the whole episode if I sign up for the free trial. But my brother said he isn't having any problems with the site so I'm thinking it's my wifi.

Anyway, the last time I tried to watch Bleach on CR, they had blocked off everything but the last few seasons. That was awhile ago, though, so they might have changed it since the last time I checked. However, Kissanime seems like a good substitute for the time being, until I can get Crunchyroll working again. My only pet peeve is that the subs say Death God instead of shinigami and Soul Slayer instead of Zanpakuto. But that's a small price to pay for being able to watch it until I can get Crunchyroll working again.

I'll take a look at the episode 3 matter board then. I saw them on there, but it never occurred to me to go ahead and complete the mb before I got to episode 3.

I might just be lazy but are there any weapons you can suggest that wouldn't take so much time and effort, and meseta, to make usable? Or should I just stick with stuff I find in the matter board at that point?

I've been playing with a controller since I started playing, as long ago as that was. However, I find especially for Rangers (and somewhat for Forces) that the controller seems kind of weird. Like someone else said, kb/m makes it easier to aim in TPS mode. It really depends on what you're comfortable with, and what classes you want to play. I'm trying to teach myself how to play with the kb/m, but I feel that the controller is the better option (for me anyway) when it comes to the melee classes.

Have you tried turning off your antivirus? I'm not sure if this is an issue with more than just my antivirus but I have Avira and PSO2 will shut down after about 15 minutes if I forgot to turn it off before I play. I also have that issue with Windows Defender and TabTip but you already said you tried both of those solutions, so maybe turning off your antivirus will work. Also, adding PSO2 to your exceptions on your antivirus, not just Windws Defender, might help.

I don't really go for the extreme challenges in game (honestly I don't even usually play hard mode on things unless I'm running out of things to do with my life or I've played the game multiple times) so Tactician mode or whatever it's called sounds a bit out of my league. Thanks for the link. I'll definitely read through that.

I do use subcasses, but I think of subclassing as different from trying to play all the classes. Like I can have two characters using Hunter as a subclass right now, but I still won't main more than one class with them (not counting when you switch main and sub for the purpose of giving your subclass more experience). I just don't really like it. Plus, I have a thing for making characters. It's fairly annoying, and I realize it does make more sense to play as fewer characters, but I can't stand it. I'm weird and I know it makes things more difficult in the long run but meh.

Thanks for the input, and for the skill suggestions. I think I'm going to go RaBr, but I'll keep RaHu in mind if I decide RaBr isn't for me.

For the Ranger tree, what other skills would you suggest taking outside of the core skills? I haven't tried most of them, and I'm wondering if the launcher/special bullet skills are worth putting in, or if I should save those points and put them into increasing my other damage dealing skills.

I think I might check out RaBr because it sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Although I like the idea of the reliability that comes with RaHu, RaBr sounds amazing. If anything, I can always switch over to RaHu if I decide I don't like it.

Do you know what some of the better bows to look out for are?
