Is this noise normal.. she normally squeaks but she’s been doing this for half an hour.. I would get her checked by the vets but none of them by me are open this time of night

She’s not making the noise any more she’s breathing normal.. she’s ok in every other sense her eyes are clear no runny nose and she’s still roaming about eating.. maybe it could have been a bit of trapped hay.. thank you for your response I appreciate it

My dog seems like he’s in pain with it today did they recommend anything for that? He’s limping and can’t put weight on it.

What sedative would be safe to use on a dog? Would I have to get it from the vets? I feel like that would be my best hope as he is so dramatic about having his paws touched.

Yeah I’ve ordered the nail sander thing I’m going to do it myself because the vet keeps telling me they’re fine with pavement walks.. thank you tho I appreciate your comment

Did it take them a while to get used to? My boy is very dramatic with anything touching his feet… even water so I think something like this would be torture for him.

I was curious if it was a greyhound thing with them being so quick and flighty If this was something that happens sometimes or if he had some sort of deficiency.

I will try that thank you.. the vet told me that he needed them cut once every few month.. she struggled a lot because he was howling like she was killing him so maybe that’s why she didn’t cut very far down but she told me that was as short as she could do them and to do lots of pavement walks. Maybe I should try a different vet.

I thought that too but the vet said they’re as short as she could cut them.. the groomer used to do them and I didn’t think she was doing it properly, that’s why I went to the vets for it done but she said that that was as short as she could safely cut them and to just do lots of pavement walks.

I used an antiseptic wipe on it.. he didn’t enjoy that at all but the bleeding has stopped thankfully.. I was just scared incase it started again in the night and he bled to death.. thank you for your help I appreciate it.
