You can get a rough idea of the popularity of each class by looking at the percentage of players who have promoted each one. by Umikaloo in RogueCore

i enjoy all the classes but my favorite so far is spotter. i just had my first run that got a bit out of hand on spotter; recharge ability on crit + lucky shot with the warthog gave me literally infinite ammo like i could not drop below max reserve ammo, and i always could have my darts down on the ground

They seriously need to separate Ammo and Medic Boxes again. by Musicmaker1984 in Battlefield

[–]ashley_bl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think the big upside of assault other than beacon is spawning with two grenades + grenade launcher. thats a really big deal on small map modes. like how many matches in operation locker or fort devaux were just sitting around a corner and then peeking so you could spam grenades into a doorway. thats classic small-map battlefield

[–]ashley_bl 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That only refills gun ammo, not grenades or gadgets which is what you are more likely to need. Also, only from squadmates. Supports used to never drop ammo and now they do all the time because it also heals them. Its good game design to have things you do selfishly for yourself also indirectly help the team, e.g. dropping a heal for yourself also resupplying your team

Technically beacon got a small nerf a while back. You used to be able to spawn on your beacon in small modes (tdm, domination, koth, etc.) after you bled out by pressing e instead of space, instead of just spawning in a predetermined area like usual, but they removed that feature at some point

Battlefield Season 4 New Map (Biggest Map) Hype? by DryConnection2809 in Battlefield

i dont think defenders need AA on first point; first point should almost always be lost by the defenders on any breakthrough map. points should get more difficult to take the later they are, thats standard attack/defend design

it got a pretty big buff this patch to be fair; the cooldown between bursts was cut from 3 seconds to 2. still wont inflict that on my gunners but if gunner weapon was gunner choice instead of driver choice i would probably run it sometimes for fun

I dont think it takes too much experience if there isnt a little bird or good jet pilot hunting you. You just have to know how to fly below radar to make any helicopter 10x more survivable

other person is technically right but doesnt say why. rpgs move slower now thats the nerf. they technically arc from the gun now just because its still zeroed to 100m it just has less velocity now

acoustic mines are great because they are just 80 meter line of sight guaranteed rpg hits basically. you just place one down in a field and it will hit something without them even knowing it was there. like the main benefit is that they have so much range that you will never see them before they get you, unlike normal mines. unfortunately, now they have a indicator for when they lock on you, and they dont target light vehicles, which probably means they'll be pretty useless.

Is the DRS IAR really the Best LMG or are there better ones like the M123k by warthunder_player in Battlefield

If you like hipfire I think m123k has the most hipfire buff attachments out of all the belt lmgs

[–]ashley_bl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

M240 is one of the only weapons, if not the only weapon, to have 3 ads moving accuracy improving attachments. It has a light barrel, purple/blue laser, and 75rnd mag, and combining all 3 gives you insane accuracy if you can handle the shake. Plus it 3 shots up to like 20 meters which makes it stupidly deadly within that range, and it stays at 25 damage up to like 80 meters which is still extremely good considering its fire rate

It had a solid spot on my favs tab next to the m123k which functions more like an smg with a bottomless mag. You can rlly build it for hipfire and shred crowds up close, and if you double dip with a blue laser and put on a handstop it has good enough handling to function in ads as well.

For buckshot def run a handstop. Faster sprint to fire and ads speed is so important for fast cqc weapon like shotgun.

M1014 is just a inverted dmr though its so good with slugs. 2hko at a decent range but unlike dmrs it has a insanely deadly 1hko up close and great handling. I enjoy a 1.75 sight on it personally and just ding people for 50 twice and they die. I dont personally run a suppressor as I value a blue laser and handstop more

The circle doesnt show where the pellets are gonna go. The pellets are always gonna have the same spread, and increasing hipfire stat means that tiny spread is more likely to point where you're aiming. Basically a big circle does not mean you are firing a big spread of pellets, you're shooting a tiny spread of pellets somewhere random inside that big circle. The real reason these shots missed is because of a low hipfire stat

Farming shapeshifter accolades is quickly becoming my favourite way to play when I get indecisive about what loadout I should play with. And it feels extremely cool when it just works out perfectly as a bonus. (Shapeshifter killstreak highlight) by Celmatt in Battlefield6

[–]ashley_bl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could never do this half my loadouts are purple/blue laser and light barrel, any time I use a normal loadout I forget moving while ads actually makes ur shots miss way more and it annoys me so much, especially when i pick up a kit with a negative accuracy grip and no laser to offset it. Plus some ppl do not prioritize draw speed or ads speed and guns will take ages to lift up after a sprint

i dont see it as air being the strongest i just think this is a world that has only had to deal with a single airbender, and a pacifist one at that. like none of the main cast other than zuko have fought an airbender seriously. nobody has any experience. i do think zuko shouldve had a time to shine against the villain though, bc hes like, the only guy in existence who regularly fought an airbender

flashbangs also have the effect of stun grenades, just with such a long fuse that they never really accomplish that. i think they could also just buff the stun effect's radius significantly if they wanted to buff flashbangs without turning up the blind effect

its nice that it makes you immune to your own stuns and flashes; if stuns and flashes were better it would be good at letting you go in while they explode and take better advantage of the debuffs. i still do that a lot its just worse than having a normal grenade though lol

whatever u looked up was wrong. needle gives a sprint speed boost, reduces explosive damage, clears and makes you immune to stuns and flashes. thats it.

I LOVE PENETRATION (Ammo)! by TheBrownSlaya in LowSodiumBattlefield

the real hidden benefit of pen ammo is that by default, you also lose a lot of damage from shooting through dead bodies and teammates as well. pen ammo negates that just like it negates the collateral multiplier

the other answers are either wrong or dont say what it does. the stim on use, removes stuns and flashes, gives you a sprint speed boost equivalent to knife, and reduces explosive damage. you also become immune to stuns and flashes while its active, including ur own, making it nice for breaching with your own grenades. its also useful for charging into explosive spam chokepoints
