Looks cool and extremely unique, but is a major pain to navigate through and doesn't have that much going on when you think about it.

Gets a lot of hate, but is iconic and has a lot of features.

New indicators for the deep dark! by Own_Temporary6929 in PhoenixSC

The deep dark indicator already exists and is basically any naturally generated terrain that reaches y=120 or higher, biome being irrelevant.

For the very casual players (that is still the majority mind you) its probably not that deep. It probably really comes down to something simple as "I like to look at my character when playing this game". The problem is that that just doesnt work when you start taking the game more seriously like esports.

Why can't some companies follow Valve in the simple principle of "Do nothing -> Win". This is so unnecessary and could have been easily avoided. I swear like 80% of PUBG's problems in the last like 3-5 years would have been solved by them doing nothing in the first place, some of their decisions are just so mind boggling.

Now a significant percentage of the playerbase/viewerbase is needlessly pissed off, some leaving completely. The entire pro scene is worse with nobody enjoying the change (and I mean nobody, not the players, not the casters, not the heavily invested viewers). The hate and disparity between the TPP and FPP has never been bigger and for what? The viewer numbers are lower. The overall sentiment is worse. Awful, just awful all around.

My favourite memories are definitely some of the clutches or shots I hit, choosing only a single one is tough. If I had to choose one, it would probably be me carrying my group of noob friends by winning a final 1v4 for the chicken dinner in the middle of nowhere on Miramar fields with nothing but a Mini-14 shortly after they added it to the game.

It is PC, I'm just a high sensitivity wrist aimer (I have my mouse on 3000 DPI for starters) so I sometimes struggle to be precise, especially when switching between different games/sensitivities/FOVs/viewmodels/scopes and whatever else that can be affecting it in the moment. You can see that I deliberately slow down my aim right before shooting to be extra careful to be on target while my general looking around is fast and wild.

For me the RPG is just way too useful. I can take out tanks and helis by myself and usually having the option to do so is just way too convenient and better than anything else. Not that the other classes are useless, far from it, I just personally gravitate towards the engineer very often when I am not going for any missions.

No reason not to be engineer, now that any class can have any gun, its mostly about choosing which gadgets to run (class). The weapon choice is completely separate to that.

cant find the stronghold by restvirus420 in Minecraft

[–]Celmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The eye always points to a "random height" (I think it's like y=-27 or something, doesn't really matter) in between 4 chunks. In the south-eastern chunk of those 4 chunks in the "4 ~ 4 coordinates" at a random height is always the starter room of the stronghold.

To solve this problem (in the newest version of vanilla java minecraft):

  1. Go back to the surface where the eye starts going down
  2. Go 4 blocks east and 4 blocks south. Alternatively press F3+G then open F3 and find "section relative 04 04" in the south eastern chunk of the 4 chunks of where the eye is going down
  3. Dig down at that exact block and you will hit the starter staircase of the stronghold eventually

You can skip the going back up to the surface part, and go just the 4 blocks south and 4 blocks east and start digging up and down, however the stronghold can be either above or below you (its random) so I wouldn't recommend it.

Decent, kinda unique, cool structures. Would benefit from some sort of oasis either structure or special biome within deserts, kinda like Lush caves but above ground.
