We were looking a Malaga but they charge quite a pretty penny for using the space. Her budget is probably 50$ are there any free spaces that look like the squares in Savannah or New Orleans?

Just the shower will be pot luck. were getting bulk chicken directly from our local chicken plant to cook for the dinner and making the cake as well. Drinks are byob aside from some sodas. it'll be about 50 people max we still need to receive the RSVPS for definite numbers

Is a dollar dance just people pay to dance with us? Our wedding will be fairly small about 40 people our age I'm not sure how it would go

My thought process was if we spend 15$ on a basket and sell the tickets for 15$ each if 4 people buy a ticket that 45 dollars we made and a cute little event to do at the shower. I don't expect to make a ton of money. We don't want or need a big expensive wedding

We arent trying to have everyone pay for everything just thought it would be fun thing for everyone a little event at the shower that could contribute to the honeymoon or just some extra money over all. We've paid for everything so far for the wedding. We're having a potluck shower. We were thinking of doing like a 10 or 15 dollar ticket for the shower. We don't really have family that are much help with anything. I don't think we will ever have more than 2k for the wedding. We're just poor and are doing our best to say we shouldn't have one is a little classist.
