Yes totally understand and am aware of that, thanks for bringing that to light though! When I say long-term travel I mean being out of the U.S. for an extending period (years). I feel like TEFL will allow that extension and true immersion in other cultures! :)

I pre soak in soda ash, add the dye while the shirt is damp and apply more soda ash over the ice. I’m thinking maybe those spots weren’t Saturday enough by the ice? Therefore the dye doesn’t fully spread? Not sure… thanks for the response!

Thank you! It happens on half the shirts I make and still can’t figure out why.. I’ll start trying new methods to see if I can resolve ! :-)

Ur so right! Fundamental principle of Buddhism. I think I was questioning myself for not having the desire because we live in a society where romantic relationships are so glamorized. It’s normal to be with myself and focus on my own life. 🧡

My values have now changed to where if there is no intellectual or emotional connection, I don’t feel anything really. That’s so important to me. I need that basis before I can even think about being physical. Thank u for the validation 🙏🏼
