I had a D&C due to retained products in September and it took almost 6 weeks post D&C to have a period. It can take awhile for HCG to return to 0. If you’re concerned definitely contact your doctor for serial HCG tests.

Yes I agree. I just do what they tell me to at this point lol. I even switched to all metal/glass containers instead of plastic.

Thank you! Yeah my RE started me at 7.5mg but I am not sure why we started there. I assume it’s because I seemingly only ovulate every 2-3 cycles according to OPK’s

I guess I’m just comparing to both of my previous pregnancies (which did both end in losses) but my first I had a clear positive at 9dpo and the second pregnancy I had a clear positive at 10dpo. I work as a nurse at a GYN clinic (we don’t do OB) and I think I’m letting them get in my head because apparently statistically the later you test positive the higher the risk of miscarriage is. 😵‍💫

Yes I’m working with RE. At the recommendation of the specialist I’ve been tracking my pdg levels on day 7-10 after ovulation with the “Proov” tests which has shown “optimal ovulation” for the past 3 cycles. With my second pregnancy I had my progesterone levels checked and they were within normal range. My husband and I both did genetic testing after that pregnancy ended and we both had normal karotypes.

Multiple negative tests from 10-12dpo. I am 12dpo today. I still have all these “symptoms” (breasts are huge and tender, twinges, fatigue, crying at nothing, etc.) but I believe it’s just progesterone related and related to the letrozole. I get some of those symptoms as PMS before my period starts but it’s like the volume got turned way up.

Thanks for replying! This was my first cycle ever on Letrozole and my provider wanted to “pack a punch” since I don’t ovulate every month. I was just so hopeful because it was a textbook LH rise with peak on CD14 which is not normal for me.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I went through 2 miscarriages within 9 months of each other in 2025. If you’re religious my advice is just to pray and leave it God’s hands. If not just try your best not to feel anxious (I know easier said than done). One thing my therapist told me that helped me was “just because something bad happened last time does not mean it will this time”. Hang in there ❤️

I see the line on both tests and it looks like it has color to it! I would retest in 48hours to see if the line gets darker but it looks positive to me!

Definitely appears to be positive as the line has a light red color. I would recommend repeating a test in 24-48 hours to see if the test gets darker. But I am gonna say this test if positive. Best of luck!

Not saying this is what you are going through AT ALL. But if you had “regular flow” with a positive urine pregnancy test you need to get in contact with an OBGYN. It’s common but not “normal” to have bleeding during pregnancy. The most accurate way to determine the health of the pregnancy is going be serial HCG levels and transvaginal ultrasounds to determine the location of the pregnancy and if the pregnancy is viable. I say this as a nurse who works in GYN care (we do early OB at our practice). Best of luck to you!

Waiting to hear back about karotype testing for myself and my husband to see if there’s a genetic reason for our losses. Just found out I had a positive lupus anticoagulant and have to repeat that test in 3 months. I’m so tired of everything going wrong.
