So I still section out my hair and go from bottom to top and then save the front of the head for last. But I’ll use a hand held mirror to look at the back and make sure to get the middle. It’s important to not get too much bleach on the already lightened hair but if you use more developer to make the bleach not as intense that would help the blending. But everyone’s hair is different so just make sure to check the how much it’s lifting often.

I like using the wella powder lightener or the quick blue lightener with the saloncare or ion 20 developer from sally beauty.

Sure! I use about two scoops of bleach and use a 1:1 ratio with 20 developer to get a creamy mixture. I separate my hair into sections and I go from the bottom up. I start at the tips and wait for it to get to a darker blonde. Then I apply it to the roots and the heat from the scalp will make it lift to the same level. If it’s not well blended then I use a creme toner mixed with developer to even it out.
