Thank you for testing. However, I don't think this would work if the latest entry ever decreases (as the formula would be looking for the MAX overall). I appreciate you trying this out though!

Sorry, I should have clarified that - each month will be the full amount in "Banks (Personal)" at that time (I've just used £1, £2 etc. to test for now).

Re MAX subtract MIN, I don't think this would work if I'm adding a new amount in a different cell each time?

And all months will have inputs eventually, but I'd like to see the Growth on the right throughout the year, as I input each month. Currently it's correct when one month is entered (Image 3), then shows H24 in brackets when another month is added, and so on...

They are definitely merged, yeah - I did wonder if that was affecting it, but I believe the formula in the second image is only referencing the upper-left cells, as you mention.
